Literally used to race off the school bus after elementary school to watch either Batman, or POwer Rangers, and Tommy was my fave.. both died a week apart? What are the odds?
it's ok dude were all crying with you im 22 and i grew up watching jason david frank on jetix when he was playing tommy in dino thunder it hurts knowing he is gone and i just met him recently in july i still can't process it.
I feel the same, I was shocked!!! And tears came to my eyes and am still upset about it and will be for a long time and it will definitely bring a tear when I rewatch the show. RIP Green Ranger…
JASON DAVID FRANK HAD AN EXTREME INSPIRING IMPACT ON MY LIFE HE INSPIRED ME TO NEVER GIVE UP AND TO ALWAYS BE THERE FOR MY FRIEND SO THAT'S WHY JASON DAVID FRANK HAD AN EXTREMELY INSPIRING IMPACT ON MY LIFE
Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger Rangers Forever, Defending Together Rest in Power My Legendary Idol JASON DAVID FRANK A.K.A TOMMY OLIVER..You're with TRINI(THUY TRANG)now...May the Power Protect You In Heaven
This one hits hard. Peak fitness, loved his work, a hero to a generation of kids and adults. You never really know what’s going on in someone’s head. As soon as I heard the news i immediately thought “what chance do the rest of us have” I think he was one of the few celebrities that legitimately cared about his fans. I wish the best for his family and close friends and as cliche as this sounds hope he finds peace.
JDF as a celebrity and role model faced a lot of challenges the rest of us wouldn’t have a clue about, don’t give up hope, everyone is dealt a different set of challenges. Heroes are meant to inspire the best in others, not overlook from a tower of greatness. Everyone no matter how good or big they are, has flaws, and we all have our own different set of strengths.
IF it was suicide, it just goes to show it doesn't matter how tough someone may seem, be it mentally or physically, it can happen to any of us. We just got to look out for each other
It has been officially confirmed that it was suicide. To know he was depressed and so unhappy with his life that he decided to end it is just heartbreaking.
The hope and inspiration he spread in life is greater than his passing. His legacy is gilded in gold, a Green Candle of Good that will never burnout, a beacon lighting the darkness. Rest in Power to the Greatest Ranger there ever was and ever will be.
It is hard to believe that Jason David Frank, the man who played Tommy Oliver, the original 6th ranger, has passed away. He was definitely one of the best power ranger actors of all time and I will miss him, as will many power rangers fans. It's sad to see that he's gone.😢
I met him last year. I tried to tell him about my cat, who had passed away his name was Saba, but his assistant advised against it because she said he carries pain. I wanted to tell him so much about the impact that his character had on me. The fact that his first arc was the very first time I've understood redemption. Because of that, I now give people all the chances to do better. I just wish these people would reach out to us. Let us know, just something.
When I saw the news I didn’t believe it. But he’s lost so much over the years. Brother, parents, daughter in law, and then his wife. I met him once, generally super happy guy. But you never know what people are going through. One of his last videos about leaving a legacy behind…I think he knew he was going to end it. Just wish he got the help he needed. So sad.
JDF was to Power Rangers what RDJ was to the MCU. This HURT it really really hurt. Last week it was Kevin Conroy (the voice of Batman for an entire generation) and now this. Tommy was a childhood hero for me back in the 90s and he was to my nephew as he grew up watching Power Rangers. I saw your IG story right after I saw #JasonDavidFrank trending with about 1.7k tweets Saturday night. I didn't wanna believe it because the #RIPJimmyFallon thing was only a couple of days prior, and we all know how the internet likes to have these random celebrity death 'pranks.' So, I didn't think too much of it. I was floored when I saw fellow rangers post about it yesterday... Favorite Tommy moment: Green No More II where he beat Goldar unmorphed and said, "I almost gave up on myself Goldar, but your little picture show reminded me of how much good I've done. Not just as the Green Ranger, but as me; plain ol' Tommy." That line stuck with me since I was a kid. "I ALMOST gave up on myself..." part is what makes the circumstances surrounding his death even more heartbreaking to me. You can have money, thousands if not millions of fans, etc. but if you are empty inside then none of those things matters. I hope his passing teaches people that at your lowest you STILL matter to someone. R.I.P. to a legendary ranger but more importantly a good man. I think Jason meant as much to the fans as Tommy meant to the Ranger Universe as a whole.
Zordon needed his greatest ranger to help with an important mission that we will never fully understand and appreciate. A ranger doesn't die he's just releasing his spirit back into the grid. R.I.P JDF, you'll never be forgotten.
I was such a sick kid growing up and i felt powerless and i always had power rangers to pull me through watching those old and new episodes gave me the strength to bounce back he tought me to never give up and i never have he inspired me to learn how to fight rest easy ledgend you fought well and proudly thank you for everything once a ranger always a ranger may the power protect you thank you for everything rest easy tommy greatest ranger in power rangers history
This one hit me hard. I met him at a con here in Puerto Rico and he was super cool. We had a nice conversation about martial arts since I have a background in it as well. He signed my funko pop figures of the green and white rangers and he even took a picture of my Vegeta funko pop figure and sent it to Chris Sabat, the English voice actor for Vegeta. I will never forget that day. The Ranger Nation will miss him. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. May the power protect you.
Jason and Kevin Conroy were two massive parts of my childhood and they passed away in the same week, RIP Jason and my thoughts go out to all his friends and family
R.I.P. Jason David Frank, a.k.a. Tommy Oliver, Original Green and White Ranger. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. The day I got to meet you with my son is still one of my greatest memories. Guys if you're going through things in your life that you feel you just can't deal with, reach out to someone. Whether it be me, a family member, a therapist or counselor, just someone. #MayThePowerProtectYou
I've always been a Jason Fan (ASJ) but there is no denying the impact JDF had on the franchise and in the lives of fans around the world. There will never be another Tommy.
I was literally hoping it was a hoax but sadly it wasn’t 😢 RIP Jason David Frank thank you for all that you done for the Power Rangers franchise, BatintheSun etc. Yes they were great!
I had to Google it when it popped up in my newsfeed and I thought it was a hoax. But I saw the multiple posts and found out that it was real. I still can't believe it. I wish it was fake. Why couldn't it be fake?
I love Jason David Frank because he inspired me of what karate is meant to be used and how to be a true Ranger. In my opinion I believe that Jason David Frank was a extraordinary man.
This is truly heartbreaking. I met him twice at Comic Con in Alabama, and he was always kind to his fans. He was one of the few celebrities that actually cared about people. He told me he loves my energy and I said, “I’m just like you, bro! You’re my spirit animal!” He laughed and hugged me. I didn’t want to belive it was suicide. But it’s true and so tragic. He inspired me to do martial arts too, bro. I’m still hurt and heartbroken. You never know what someone is going through. RIP JDF 😢💔💔🕊
I had people check in on me as if I had lost a family member. It's been crazy to say the least. I don't know what I could say that others haven't already said, JDF was the best, on and off-screen. I meet him once and he was every bit the person you'd hope him to be. This is one scenario where meeting your heroes was a phenomenal moment and life-changing.
May Jason rest in peace. He left his mark on the world and will never be forgotten. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. You hang in there, man. It's always tough. But the best way to honor his memory is to live well.
had the pleasure of meeting Jason on two occasions a few years ago, he was such a nice enthusiastic guy, spoke with me as if I'd known him for years, had a laugh about how it was about 20 yrs late lol (I met him as an adult) and spoke about the indie film industry (which I was in at the time) among other things, the second time we met he surprisingly made a B line for me and greeted me with a hug, when staff attempted to move me on he turned them away and said 'no ,no he's my friend' they say never meet your childhood heroes, for me that couldn't have been more wrong RIP my friend x
I lost two men from my childhood. First lost Bob Saget who was like the father figure i always wanted as a kid and then losing JDF, the cool guy who did the right thing and always fought for good. Man just such a heartbreaking year.
JDF was a legend that lived for his fans. I met him twice and watched him multiple times in just those two occurrences leave money on the table just to make the fans happy. My best memory was when I saw him at a con he signed something for me saw my green and white ranger tattoo called me back to the table sign my shirt and told me to have a great day. The world is a little darker without him in it. This is my first time commenting on your videos and I think you did him a great honor by speaking so highly of him and how he affected your life. Every Ranger fan was touched by him and our childhoods made a little better because of him.
I began watching the Power Rangers due to his story line, I firmly believe he is the main reason I became obsessed with martial arts. I became a black belt later in my twenties. I feel he was true inspiration to everyone. Jason David Frank (aka Tommy Oliver) will always be the greatest power ranger of all time 😢❤
RIP Jason David Frank, he truly was my childhood hero I wanted to be just like Tommy Oliver he was so awesome and a badass character and in fact I just rewatched Green with Evil Part 1-5 last night to celebrate and honor JDF and I was reminded why Tommy was a great character and JDF was perfect as Tommy , Rest In Power Jason David Frank 🙏🕊️
Rest in Power Jason David Frank. This news hit me hard. First Kevin Conroy now JDF. They were such a big part of my childhood. Tommy was always a favorite of mine and a hero. Even though I never met him he was a wonderful human being. May he rest in peace.
I was hoping and praying this was something to do with Twitter being absolutely terrible lately and this being a false report, but man I still can't believe it. I'll forever have that man in my head as a role model, someone who despite not knowing it put me on the path towards martial arts and fitness as a kid. Rest in peace JDF, we're all gonna miss you. And if anyone that's in this comments section sees this, please, speak to someone if you're struggling, check on your friends and family and make sure they're alright. One of the most courageous things you can do is ask for help.
I couldn't believe it at first. I've never had a celebrities death effect me like this. I'm still in a state of disbelief. As an adult coming back to Power Rangers after years away finding out more about JDF was inspiring. His embracing of a hero/role model for children (and adult who he first inspired as children) was incredible. My kids are into Power Rangers now and they gravitated towards Tommy as well. JDF made a Cameo video for them and it is just incredible the amount inspiration and positivity that came out of him. I'm still shocked.
RIP JDF. If you or anyone you know is struggling, please seek help. Tell a friend or loved one, use any and all resources you could find. You are not alone
I watched every season of Power Rangers up to S.P.D. and then grew out of it, but those were some of the best years of my life, helped me get through a lot. I was a ranger for Halloween every year, first one was the white ranger when I was 4. It really sucks to lose JDF, but I understand considering the things he's had to deal with.
Rest in Power Jason, dude was an amazing man, and I even got to meet him a few times at Anime Festival Orlando over the years. It's hard to believe such a nice and good person is gone. May the power protect him, and may he be with God in heaven now. Edit: and I'm praying for his family, there are 4 children who are missing their father.
@@Mike_Jones281 Sir/ma'am we're here to pay our respects to JDF. If your going to troll, that's on you but he wasn't an Atheist: th-cam.com/video/d5M6NPOT8yI/w-d-xo.html
@@Mike_Jones281 I apologize, I've met too many people looking for attention to themselves. And I'd still pray for them. I'd pray for their salvation, safety, health, and then some. While it's difficult, I wouldn't wish for or pray for bad things to happen to them. Jason was a wonderful person, no matter what, and made his fans feel like family.
He will be missed, Jason Frank was the heart of the power ranger series. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Once a ranger, always a ranger.
I was in shock all yesterday, and couldn't believe it. This was the first channel i couldn't stop thinking about because I always come here to feel the love of the best Power Ranger in Power Rangers History. R.I.P. Jason David Frank ⚡️👦🏻🙌🏻🪙🟢⚪️🔴⚫️🟡🕊🕊🙏
Jason David Frank played my first example of a evil character over coming their darkness in themselves, and not only turning to the good side, but also sacrificing their power for the good of others. Ever since then I loved the idea of villains going through emotional changes and eventually redemption arcs. Jason David Frank impacted the rangers story line so many times, and it was always a highlight seeing him turn up. I hope that he has found some peace.
We all grieve with you. As a huge Ranger Nation that love this franchise since it's inception. I was shocked to hear this. I was a big Ranger fan myself. We lost a great Ranger. But we all can carry the power that he possessed and share it with others. May the Power protect us. #oncearangeralwaysaranger #RIPJDF
You know about a month ago I talked to a fellow PR fan at a Local Game Shop. I told him about the time I met him and asked a question at a panel. That was everything when he actually said my name. The guy I talked to said JDF was a jerk my answer to that was "How? When he makes EVERY fan feel special." He was a great guy. And never once did I see him in a negative light. He was an inspiration to many. Once a Ranger ALWAYS a Ranger. As you cross the Morphin Grid may the Power Protect you.
A ranger forever. I am a 1997 kid. I grew up watching this man. So many lessons taught. You could be bad make mistakes and find your way to good again, you could lead and later on you could be a teacher. This is so sad man. Chester Bennington part of my favourite band of all time and also a big part of my life, he lost his life to his demons as well. I know there is speculation on how Jason passed but it still hits hard. I like to believe that legends never die. Rest in power Jason David Frank
He was my favorite ranger and the green ranger was one of the best power ranger in the series IMO. I saw this news when my dad was scrolling down his facebook pages and I was hurt and saddened to learn of his passing. Jason David Frank is one of the few who made my childhood a good one when watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Condolences to the family and friends for their loss of a loved one. 🙏👼
I literally met him last week here in Indiana for the last con he would ever attend…. He was such an amazing and down to earth human being. It’s so hard to believe. As he was signing my items. I told him to check out your Channel, who knows if he did but he told me he loved the channel name and would check it out. May the power protect you ! 💚🟢
RIP Tommy Oliver, he had been a really huge part of my childhood and knowing that he is no longer with us really saddens me, he is the greatest power ranger ever.
You were the first person I thought of when the news broke and I was waiting to hear what you had to say. You did not disappoint and your words have more than done him justice. It's a shame you never got to meet him in person but I know he would have been proud of the dedication you have shown not only to this franchise, but to your followers and to martial arts as well. The world lost a hero and a good man today. Thank you for your kind words and of course thank you and RIP to Jason David Frank. He truly changed all of our lives for the better. Please keep making these great videos. May the Power Protect You, my friend.
The best power ranger ever. Watching power rangers everyday as a kid inspired me to not only take martial arts but to be a better human being as I matured. He, and Kevin Conroy, were very influential in my childhood and both have passed far too soon.
I am so saddened by this. JDF was a super wonderful guy, and he will be sorely missed. The world has lost a person who brought happiness to many people. May he rest in piece.
i dead ass cried bro i wanted to tell that man so many things he impacted in my life how he kept my mom memory alive by literally just being a character on a tv show…rip to a real legend
I got to meet him one time back in 2015 at the Lexington comic con, got a photo with him and a signed photo as well. he was..is my hero. after the con when waiting for my friends he even called out to me telling me good luck at work. i am heart broken over this and the world is worse without him. we will never get any ranger as great of a hero as him.
that happened to me 3 times so far. When my dad died, when my pastor of our church died and when steve irwin died. When those we look up to and cherish die, it brings the crushing blow of mortality down upon our hearts. JDF was such a rolemodel to others and he will be greatly missed.
Man…this just hits hard… Honestly, when I first heard the news, I thought about you and how it would affect you. While I wasn’t the biggest Power Rangers fan, I have nothing but the utmost respect for any actor who takes up the mantle of a ranger. JDF especially seemed always eager to put the helmet on and get into the fight. He will be missed 💚🤍❤️🖤
I’m so glad I got to see him at Salt Lake FanX two months ago and get a picture with him and I had a friend in the picture with me. We were both in cosplays and he said we looked amazing. The way he said that felt so genuine. Thank you JDF.
I didn’t want to believe it at breakfast yesterday but this man meant the world to me. Knowing him first from Dino Thunder to eventually going back and watching MMPR, Zeo, and Turbo. He made our childhoods great and my only action figure i still have his of the Dino Thunder black ranger. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
Rip Tommy. When I heard this news last night it broke my heart and I knew it would be a hard video for you to make. He will be missed and im truly thankful for all he did for us and for the Power Rangers community.
Jason David Frank / Tommy Oliver was and still is my favorite ranger of all time! I watched Mighty Morphin Power Pangers like so, many when I was quite young and the show and especially Tommy Oliver had quite the impact on me in my childhood. Rest in peace Jason David Frank / Tommy Oliver and thanks for everything!
JDF, inspired a lot of people. Mine included. Seeing him, the first time. Falling in love with a character. He was a great man. A great person. And I too have lost my father, this year. He changed so many peoples lives. Jason, will always be missed.
RIP Jason David Frank…You were my favorite ranger hands down, who I never got to meet. Unfortunately his wife left him not to long ago, and his step daughter committed suicide about a year ago, I think it all caught up to him unfortunately…Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. Rest In Power.
I had the hardest day yesterday cried all day, R.I.P JDF you will always be my hero you helped me thru alot as a child just watching you on tv. We never met but damn man i love you rest in power king.
RIP Jason. You were a great man, a great role model, you were just the greatest. Above all you were my hero. You’ll always be my hero. If the rumors are true then it just goes to show that we never know what someone is struggling with. Always be kind to others because you don’t know the battles they fight everyday. If you yourself are going through something reach out to someone and know that the world will not be a better place without you, it’ll be worse for everyone who loves you. You are important and loved and deserve to feel that love from everyone. Stay strong Rangers, and may the power protect you.
Yesterday i was shocked, today i'm still shocked. Here in Italy Power Rangers was almost a religion for us kids. Growing up i though that the fandom didn't live, till yesterday, when my feed on social media, even people i can't stand, were pay homage and tributes to Jason. It's almost live living again that time Eddie Guerrero passed away. It hurts even more to see how many people here were inspired by him. This video is a great tribute, a truly felt one, it shows. And as a suicide survivor i can't thank you enough for spreading the awareness. May the Power protect you, always
I woke up Sunday morning seeing reports of JDF's death on Facebook. My first thought was it had to be a Death Hoax that just happened to center around him. After looking it up more to confirm it hit me hard. Also to lose the voice of Batman Kevin Conroy almost a week prior is devastating. To lose the two people who got me for the most part into Superheroes as a whole in that short a span of time.
I make that aaayahhhh sound he used to make when striking, whenever I’m play fighting with my kids. He inspired so many of us. R.I.P. to the Greatest Ranger of All Time
Usually celeb passing doesn’t really bother me, but this does. I personally was a Red Ranger fan no matter what, but the time JDF put not only into power rangers, but being what PR was outside of the show was amazing to me. He earned my respect when I realized he was a real life hero. And that is why it hurts so much to see him gone. Respect in peace JDF.
He was the reason I got into martial arts. He was the reason I grew out my hair. He was the reason I got my ears pierced. Damn, man. I still can't believe this. My fianceé came into the bathroom to tell me the news when it broke. It took a while for me to feel it, but I'm struggling to not cry typing this. She said "I'm sorry for your loss", expecting me to know. It was like getting hit by a truck (which I have, so an apt comparison). It's like, dude... YOU taught us to seek help. YOU taught us to seek kinship. YOU taught us to never give up. May the power protect him, and all of us.
I first read the news on a 80's Cartoon Fan Page and at first, i couldn't believe what i read. And like you, i thought of one of those bad internet hoaxes. But the deeper i digged, the more real it seemed. When the Wikipedia Site of him showed, that he died, i couldn't help but shed some tears. It is so sad, that he is another victim of depression. He brought us fans so much joy and seemed to have always have time for his fans. Although i never got the chance, to meet him in person, i will miss this great and friendly actor and childhood hero.
A part of me died today when I heard that news. And as a man I am not ashamed to say I have cried many times in the last 24 hours over this it's like when I lost my dad again
When I 1st heard rest in peace Jason David Frank I thought it was a joke too when I kept searching and I saw nothing. That thought never crossed my mind That thought never crossed my mind at all. RIP JDF🙏🏿
I thought the world of Jason David Frank too. I will miss him a lot. My wife and I have three kids and we have watched Power Rangers starting from season one. This one hurts and can’t help but randomly tear up the past couple days.
Rest in peace JDF. I never got to meet you and while I can never hope for that again you made so many people happy. May the power protect you, even though you're gone you will live on wherever the Morphing Grid touches.
Met him a few years back at a comic con in DC it was a last minute thing to even go I'm so glad that I did and got a chance to meet with him take pics he was so energetic he signed my lanyard and everything I had in my hand lol. Very humble gave the last people in line the same time and attention as the first people. Rest In Power to the homie JDF 🙏🏾💚🤍♥️🖤
When I first heard the news I thought it was completely fake. Saw 2 news articles on it and it wasn’t enough for me so I threw it out. But as the day continued more and more started coming out and the reality started to hit. It felt so heavy. He was such a cool guy and hearing what everyone has said about him makes it such a major loss for the world. He will be greatly missed
It had me in tears hearing the sad news yesterday. When I saw your face at the start of this video I felt my heart sink. It's so sad this happened and I know your hurt over this. Watching you over time share about your passion for the mmpr over only makes it that much more of sad day after losing Tommy. Ty for sharing your love for the power rangers and paying respect in this video. Ty for the great informative content about power rangers I've learned a lot about the story thanks to your research you share. May the power protect you.
First off, I will endeavor to visit your channel more over time. You do a very incredible job keeping your recaps and your messages nice and Steady. sorry I'm a little late on such an important video but I was busy with my parents and several other things. This news hit me hard, especially since I was lucky enough to have met JDF at a Convention in 2013 and gotten his autograph. I've been coping with time. I even rewatch classic stories and it's helping. I believe in many ways this man touched our hearts and pushed us to go after our dreams. Thank you for your kind messages and for keeping this channel free and open. I salute your hard work and effort. Incidentally I also want to say again "Characters are very special to me" I think I'm not the only one who likes to have a home for the character as well but I've come to see more just how much of an impact the real people really do have for us. I again apologize for a couple comments that part of me thinks were a little bit bad taste. Let us both make a pledge to push forward the sentiment of a better future and strive to be better in times to come. And remember those who inspire us! To everyone out there all those who care, whatever connections you felt with him, hold on to them and stay strong! May the power protect you! May it protect us all!
I really didn’t expect this hé was and still is a legend becouse he’s my top favorite actor of all time his passing will not be unnoticed we will miss you with all of our hearts RIP Jason David Frank you have inspired so many people and generations thank you for that.
Talking about yourself in videos like this is fine I think when it comes to people you never met but who still had such a impact on you. It's like getting to say everything you wish you could have said. He affected so many fans and people who will never forget the greatest ranger ever and hopefully wherever he is he can see he'll never go forgotten.
Growing up without a male figure I gravitated to JDF, because of him I wanted to become strong, caring and a leader. I never got a chance to meet him, but my brother did during a local MMA even here in Houston. My brother explained how he was so scared to approach him but the inner kid in him wanted to greet him. So he walked up to him and as my brother explained " he was so nice and just seemed so interested in me as a fan" just knowing that he was kind to my brother and watching his videos on TH-cam I'm sure he was a hero worth meeting. Thank you JDF for being that light that this kid needed growing up!
First Kazuki Takahashi, then Kevin Conroy and now this. I'm losing my childhood heroes. May the power always protect him.
It's like the End Times are coming...

This one hits hard. Peak fitness, loved his work, a hero to a generation of kids and adults.
You never really know what’s going on in someone’s head. As soon as I heard the news i immediately thought “what chance do the rest of us have”
I think he was one of the few celebrities that legitimately cared about his fans. I wish the best for his family and close friends and as cliche as this sounds hope he finds peace.
Yeah, I just found out about his passing because of this video and I'm in absolute shock. I literally let out a No No Way at my worksite...
It gets to the best of us. Reminds me a lot of Robin Williams.
Suicide is cowardly. To throw away yourself when your kids need and want you. Is selfish. Mental illness
Those have been my exact words “what chance do I have”
JDF as a celebrity and role model faced a lot of challenges the rest of us wouldn’t have a clue about, don’t give up hope, everyone is dealt a different set of challenges.
We just got to look out for each other
From what I hear, he was going through a rough time in his personal life.
@@BenetteG yeah I know he was meant to be getting divorced but even still

It has been officially confirmed that it was suicide. To know he was depressed and so unhappy with his life that he decided to end it is just heartbreaking.
@@vectoralphaSec ok. Just didn't want to say it was without it being confirmed

Well said.

Because of that, I now give people all the chances to do better. I just wish these people would reach out to us. Let us know, just something.
That sounds like a cool cat, sorry he's gone. May the power protect Saba and JDF RIP.
@Captain Z-man he was the sweetest most loving cat that ever existed. He died of cancer at 16.
HEROS GET REMEMBERED BUT LEGENDS NEVER DIE
💚🐲💚🤍🐯🤍🤍🦅🤍❤⭐❤❤🚘❤🖤🦕🖤 Keep him alive in our hearts...
So sad.
RIP Jason David Frank "Tommy Oliver." He is now one with the Morphin Grid. May the Power protect him.
And may the Power protect you, Sixth Ranger.
Not just as the Green Ranger, but as me; plain ol' Tommy."
That line stuck with me since I was a kid.
R.I.P TO A MAN THAT CHANGED LIVES, MOLDED GENERATIONS AND INSPIRED SO MANY PEOPLE.
So True
Zordon needed his greatest ranger to help with an important mission that we will never fully understand and appreciate. A ranger doesn't die he's just releasing his spirit back into the grid. R.I.P JDF, you'll never be forgotten.

He had 4 kids (2b 2g), a successful dojo, and we loved him all the same. I'm still lost. The dragon flute salute will never mean the same.
Rest in Power Jason. You will be always remembered.
RIP Jason David Frank. You will be missed. :'(
Do you realize that asj his real name is Jason
@@xandercage2529 🤔
He was one of the greatest rangers ever and an inspiration to millions. May he ascend to the ethereal realm in peace. 😔🙏
Same here. I was hoping that it was hoax also.
But the best way to honor his memory is to live well.
had the pleasure of meeting Jason on two occasions a few years ago, he was such a nice enthusiastic guy, spoke with me as if I'd known him for years, had a laugh about how it was about 20 yrs late lol (I met him as an adult) and spoke about the indie film industry (which I was in at the time) among other things, the second time we met he surprisingly made a B line for me and greeted me with a hug, when staff attempted to move me on he turned them away and said 'no ,no he's my friend' they say never meet your childhood heroes, for me that couldn't have been more wrong
RIP my friend x
Binge watched yesterday after hearing news. Tommy never gave up no matter how bad things got.
I was heartbroken when I learned this. Jason was the only real life ranger, he will forever be missed
I would disagree that he was the only real life ranger but he will be missed nonetheless.
He made are childhood so memorable he will always be remembered 😢

I was in shock all yesterday, and couldn't believe it. This was the first channel i couldn't stop thinking about because I always come here to feel the love of the best Power Ranger in Power Rangers History. R.I.P. Jason David Frank
⚡️👦🏻🙌🏻🪙🟢⚪️🔴⚫️🟡🕊🕊🙏
RIP JDF, you really were and still are the greatest ranger there ever was
I literally met him last week here in Indiana for the last con he would ever attend….
He's the reason why to this day, my favorite color is green. May the power always protect him.
The best power ranger ever. Watching power rangers everyday as a kid inspired me to not only take martial arts but to be a better human being as I matured. He, and Kevin Conroy, were very influential in my childhood and both have passed far too soon.
Yesterday I had a toy morpher in my back pocket with the green power coin and wore my green ranger hat in memory of JDF.
Words can not express the feeling of loosing your hero. R.I.P.
I'm 42, I was in my early teens when Power Rangers debuted in America... Tommy was always my favorite Ranger... This news hurts. Rest in power JDF.
that happened to me 3 times so far. When my dad died, when my pastor of our church died and when steve irwin died. When those we look up to and cherish die, it brings the crushing blow of mortality down upon our hearts. JDF was such a rolemodel to others and he will be greatly missed.
Man…this just hits hard…
Honestly, when I first heard the news, I thought about you and how it would affect you.

That was my original thought too.
@@lightningsamurai4134 same here I didn't take it seriously at first.

It had me in tears hearing the sad news yesterday. When I saw your face at the start of this video I felt my heart sink. It's so sad this happened and I know your hurt over this. Watching you over time share about your passion for the mmpr over only makes it that much more of sad day after losing Tommy. Ty for the great informative content about power rangers I've learned a lot about the story thanks to your research you share. May the power protect you.
Love you, Brother, thanks for sharing this, it's definitely helping me process this tragedy. May the power protect us.
I legitimately wanted this to be fake. Such a legend, such a good dude. “Growing up means watching my heroes turn human in front of me”
Talking about yourself in videos like this is fine I think when it comes to people you never met but who still had such a impact on you.
