I believe Knecht has the athletic ability and like Reeves who has improved we just need good team defense. Knecht looks good as a rookie. He just needs consistent time on the court. I think AD and LeBron hurt us on D regularly when they don’t hustle back on D which leaves their teammates scrambling to pick up their men. At times AD frustrates me cause he doesn’t fight hard enough to stick to the other teams big man.

I hear what Trevor is saying about Rui. My only thing is the same thing that applied to D'Angelo Russel now applies to Rui. He's probably your next most valuable piece in a trade. Nobody wants to give up Reaves. I know the gamble of relying on Vando to stay healthy is very risky. But it may be a move they have to make just to get pieces that make sense.

Just beat a “small” GS team without 3 or 4 key players (incl. Draymond and Kuminga) and it was still close. 😂 The margin for error remains if Bron & AD have to score 61+ pts per game. Will say it again, this team has no chance without shooters in the postseason. DFS & Vando have a combined 7pt career avg! Reality will come if they let go of Rui or cant pick up another 12~15 pt range shooter.

Do not trade Dalton, he just needs time to adjust to not making all of the team's decisions. In college, the ball was in his hands. In the NBA, he's got to adjust to be able to get into a rhythm without being ball-dominant, and he isn't going to figure that out in his rookie year. Give him time the same way other teams give their rookies time to develop.

Jaxson is the energy big, Koloko is the defensive big, Jamison is the heavy. Until they get one who is all of those, they should maintain this big rotation. After all, you can only use Koloko or Jamison a limited amount of games and not in the playoffs. This team should continue to ascend, especially if Vando stays healthy and Wood returns which could make them more attractive to buyout bigs if a trade doesn't happen. This team healthy and whole is more athletic and versatile than one would think, now let's see how Wood could further their potential when he returns but you gotta love the place their in at this moment.

Just think about the role players we have now, to put with the 3 number one draft picks. Getting back the 2004 #1 draft pick will make the 2012 #1 draft pick happy and give the 2003 #1 draft pick and the role players more shots from offensive rebounds. Seems he’d be the perfect perimeter threat that wouldn’t cost multiple first (or any) and salary can be matched a lot easier than other high income players lakers are looking to trade with. He’s proven he’s capable in the playoffs. What am I missing here? The lakers have needed a true PG for years. Is it his age that’s a deterrent? At two years (30 mil) he still leaves room to maneuver next year as well the salary cap as well

Rui is very useful on offense. I think they should get a Big on the buyout market just for the big body centers. He will play 20 mins per game at most, and only big ans strong players.

Lakers have enough talented role players to complement the three number one draft picks. They did it in 2020, 2003 #1 draft pick dominant at the 3 position, the 2012 #1 draft pick dominant at the 4 position, scoring at will, the 2004 #1 draft pick dominant at the 5 position, being disruptive to any center, grabbing rebounds and giving us some monstrous dunks.

Under JJ Reddick. A mobile big that can shoot 3s will be deadly with AD. I believe he could possibly be the stretch big we need under JJ Reddicks offense and defense schemes. If we make a trade for a big that does not include Wood, we will be dangerous when he comes back. Him and Vando off the bench with DFS will be a master class. Like imagine. Colin Sexton, Austin Reaves,Lebron James, Anthony Davis and Walker Kessler with Gabe Vincent, Max Christie, DFS, Vando, C. Wood off the bench. That's a dominant championship team

Pacers aren’t trading Myles for Rui. You’d have to get a third team involved. They’d need another starting center (their only backup is Thomas Bryant. They are the 5th seed in the East-just one game out of 4th-they’d be tanking their season if they traded Myles for Rui.

Can’t trade Rui… Way too valuable just in case Bron gets hurt… This is the first time we’ve had a positive in our abilities in years.. Vando makes us so much stronger and everybody’s job on defense easier, including AD… Unless you’re talking about getting Myles Turner or Poetl lets just see what we can finally do… hopefully this gives Bron a chance to go down to 28 minutes a game and get rest… but he is selfish and wants to play
