For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
RAHU in first house in birth chart
Whenever you have the North node of the Moon 'Rahu' in the first house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is self work and self realization.
The North node in the first is often looked at many astrologers as a bad and difficult placement but in reality this is a placement shared by some of the top individuals across diverse fields.
The only thing that matters here is how you become conscious of and navigate this energy in your physical body and life path, this is where you need to understand things with a little more depth.
The perspective here is more on what 'Rahu' placed in the first house is trying to show you about your soul's desire in the material plane. This video will give you a lot of clues about understanding your life path. It will also provide you with the necessary guidance on how to deal with the many choices and illusions that come with this placement.

Rahu is not any evil shadow energy. It is an unfulfilled potential desire if not attended leads to imbalances & frustration. Rahu is learning to be healthily selfish, determined, self-assertive, independent, charismatic, confident personality. Yet, to get the complete picture of the Journey, the rest of placements in chart as well as D9 plays very important role. Ra is actually my AK too. So, i am learning to love this energy, because it is not all roses as well, it can be extreme, so requires big work to learn to go well with it without anxieties & misunderstanding

I'm researching my dear friend's son, who has this placement. He's 11. He is very independent and gets into a lot of trouble. A very strong personality and always haggles to get what he wants. He certainly struggles to understand the feelings of others and gets into fights. He's intelligent and is in the select baseball league as a pitcher. I'm looking at the other aspects, Jupiter and Venus are conjuct Ketu 7th, Scorpio 1st and Aries moon.
I have rahu in 1st and i struggle with relationships with my family and friends and everyone in general, maybe rahu is trying to teach me that in the end you have to be there for yourself and trust yourself and think for yourself first. That's why I'm becoming very detached. Plus i have sun moon mercury venus in 8th house Aquarius♒ sign which again is very karmic and makes me detached as a person

this video is as if someone just addresed what i have been going through. my rahu dasha started when i was around 19 yrs old. rahu in 1st house gemini ascendant. so yes quick witted;
1st house lord in 8th house..everything is going up n down nothing is stable..but as long as i focus on my career everything goes pretty well..but if i shift my focus on relationships i.e 7th house..the war begins..

I have Rahu with my sign lord Venus in 1st house, libra, Rahu in Chitra nakshatr, my birth nakshatr and Venus in Swati.
Going through Rahu mahadasha, last three years left. Till now what I have experienced is all things leading me to become independent, if I over rely on others it breaks, reminding me again and again to be self reliant.
I really like to take care of myself, I exercise, eat clean and no addictions. Taking care of my physique is important to me. But yes, I feel under confidence and that makes me shy away from a lot of things.

Not really I'm afraid. The intepretation of the houses themselves in thr divisional charts is quite different. So we will get into the nodal placements for D-9 and D-10 too but gradually

Does it apply to rahu in 1st house Navmsa too? I am 33 and already feel that rahu is getting activated. They say navamsa show its result around 37. All my life I have lived for others... But now I am changing my focus is coming on me.
Also that imposter syndrome line. Whenever i achieve something great it feels like I've got it without putting alot of efforts. Even though I've worked hard it never seems enough plus whenever i have a desire it gets fulfilled without even thinking about it or putting too much efforts

I have rahu and Saturn in my 1st house. I can relate everything you said. At the same time my life is affected by Saturn as well. So it's really confusing to me to maintain the traits of rahu and Saturn both at the same time.

Where's your Saturn and what's your age? Look I can't judge based on one placement on its own on what factors are preventing you to grow in that direction. This is quite general. However Rahu in the first house means you need to learn to take more initiative and create your own path through efforts and self belief. Long story short, you need to LEARN to work hard and STICK to the commitments you make to YOURSELF. Get me?

But when I do this I have been called stubborn.. Like for example I like to live alone because I know I am happy when I am alone and I can spend time to do things I like.. Even though every decision I have taken till now has been proven correct I have been labelled as stubborn and what not.. Sometimes applying astrology solutions become difficult while living in practical world 😔
