Came here to learn how to install a wig because these salons and braiders in NJ are getting out of control with their prices!! Need to learn how to do my own hair!
Listen! Tell me about it. That’s why I been on this journey for a few years now! I’m not perfect, I’m learning as I go but I do feel I have relatable and beginner friendly videos. I believe you can too!! All we need is patience and effort 🤎🤎
@@Ashley-og9ti seeee yeaaa, even if my pockets could afford that without me having to second guess it, I just can see myself paying that much. Maybe one day but quality work doesn’t always have to be expensive
I just bought one , it's my first wig. I colored the ends and I was trying to decide how I was going to install it. This chrochet method is right up my alley!! I'm going to do this for sure!. I colored my hair in April and it's grown out so I'm trying to put it away for a while! This looks great!
I had a hard time pulling the hook through wound up using a piece of wire it definitely wasn't as easy as it looks but i did it now i see what I did wrong I only did one braid instead of 2 so my braid wasn't out. Thanks now i know how to do it better for next time. Lol
Awesome videos and very inspiring. Do you have any suggestions for women with fine hair? It looks like it would be difficult to attach the v-part clips to anything but a normal to thick braids.
Thank you so much for your support. For finer hair I would suggest braid bigger braids so it’ll be less tension on your hair! Based on your hair strength and I do believe you could try this method. If your hair is weaker or more easily damaged this particular method may not be the best right now. However it’s solely based on your hair capabilities. I been on a hair love journey so I’ll be posting more natural hair friendly content soon! 🤎
You should be fine!! Once it dries, it’ll be fresh so you would have to tease the roots to get it more voluminous but my favorite is a few days old hair. Freshly washed hair will be more tamed but as you wear it it’s so fluffy and pretty 😄😍
Thank you so much for your comment! My videos often times go unnoticed lately and I really appreciate you taking the time to watch! I’m a pretty simple but effective TH-camr lol. I be stressed sometimes too sis! Glad I was able to help some 🥹🫶🏽💕

Can someone tell me if they ordered and got the same wig... Im seeing alot of comments on other videos that this company UNICE is not sending the same quality wig as they do to promoters. Someone please let me know if its legit. Thanks
I bought this wig and it arrived in the mail yesterday. From first looks, everything looks fine. The curl pattern is nice and tight, it’s not shedding too much, and the wig isn’t too thin. However, I would keep in mind that the wigs Unice send to influencers are 250% density. The wig advertised on the site is 150% density. You can contact customer support to purchase a wig with more density, but you have to pay extra. I would say this is still a great wig even at 150% density and you should be fine purchasing. You’ll definitely need to wash the wig, define the curls as you would your own natural hair, and cut it to frame your face - but that’s to be expected with any weave you buy.
Is the clip going through the braid like on top or underneath? Idk if that makes sense: like are you hooking it on the braid or through the center of the braid.
Oooo that’s a great question. I personally hooked it on the braid underneath it! For people with fine/average hair having a small anchor braid how I did it is great! I believe those with thicker hair booking it on the center may make it lay more seamless overall. Hooking it underneath may be took bulky
Hey! I actually do do wig sales! Always under $150 most are $100 to be affordable and way less than the company. I plan to post some tomorrow on my Facebook. My Name is Dani Ivey on there. I know I’ll be posting some v parts that is very similar. I cut this unit a little lop sided so I won’t be selling this one but I always post videos with each wig that i sell so you can see the condition, density and construction of the wigs!
🥹🫶🏽 Girl this style changed my view of textured v part wigs entirely lol matching my hair with textured that’s are mind is one less headache to achieve. Also, I think I got the headband from LUVME hair box with their headband wig a year or two back I’m sorry I don’t have more deets on it. Thank you for taking the time to comment. It means a lot
Sooo cute 😍 Im literally about to wash my real hair rn to install this. Im excited i want mine to look just like yours , did you let it air dry after the first wash & after styling moose????
Hey! Yes I did let it air dry I couldn’t find my diffuser. Then I fluffed it up with my fingers from the roots. I believe the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Serum help it stay defined with less frizz.
No ma’am I didn’t. I normally keep it pretty simple with curly hair unless I notice it needs more moisture. How did you sleep on it. When I sleep with it all pulled up, I normally don’t have to refresh the curls until about 5 days later but only if I’m going for a defined look.
🥹🫶🏽 thank you for supporting me!!! Yes ma’am anytime I want volume and supper defined curls the diffuser is my best friend and it help cut down on frizz!
Two easy ways: first way, if you unclip the clips and start to remove the wig, it will naturally pull back out as you’re lifting the wig off your head. The second way I’ve done is to the feel for each piece you crotchet through and manually pull it back through the way you put it in. I have a video on my tikok under v part wigs playlist is you’d like a visual! My handle is also AshTakeOff 💖
I bought exactly the same wig and used the same products but my hair does not look this curly as yours at all and I used a good amount off conditioner and water. Do you have any tips for me?😭
Did you use a Denman brush or a curl activating brush? If I would have brushed with just a regular brush or comb, the curls wouldn’t get as define as I was able to achieve. So my first suggestion is to check the brush/styling tool Another suggestion would be finger curling the ends could help activate more spiral curls like mine! Last suggestion, I did blow dry the curls with a diffuser piece and i believe that helped with defining the curls dry and adding volume to the hair The original texture of the hair like in the video would have never looked like this if I didn’t do those steps, the trim I did probably helped too! I hope you’re able to get the curls you desire 🫶🏽
@@AshTakeOff I just a brush that’s similar to the denman brush so I’m going to look for the original one. Thank you so much for the tips, I will definitely use them!😊
It honestly depends on who is wearing it! It’s a v part so it’s as conveniently worn or taken off as you see fit. I personally switch my hair often so I wore it a little over a week then took it out to switch styles. The style can last as long as I want to wear it. If the curls get old you can refresh them or wear it like a headband!
