I used to go to a beauty shop for my haircuts in the 80s but the owner, she still had those 60s 70s floral print chairs and bright pink or light blue sinks ..It was very awkward my first time in a beauty shop.. wasn’t a guy thing but the barber always scalped me.. I couldn’t stand another bad haircut so I befriended the 2 elderly beauticians that had a tiny shop next to my apartment building.
