Ever wondered what diving in Costa Rica is like ? Well the Pacific side offers unspoiled world class dive sites for beginner and advanced divers with spectacular marine life. Where else can you dive with Mantas, Bullsharks and see humpback whales and dolphins on the way to the dive site ?
Costa Rica has some of the best diving in the world. Coco Island is on the bucket list of every diver. But unknown to the larger public, the Pacific Coast has great unspoiled dive sites. The best sites are located around Playas Del Coco in Guanacaste. Our local dive sites offer a wide variety of marine life including eagle rays, devil rays, white tip reefs sharks, nurse sharks, pelagic schools of fish, many species of reef fish and for macro enthusiast there are nudibranchs, seahorses and harlequin shrimp. If that's not enough then we are also conveniently located for diving with Bullsharks around the Murcielago Archipelago (Bats Islands). And diving with Oceanic Mantas around the Catalinas Islands.

When to dive in Costa Rica ? Our location offers excellent year-round diving opportunities. Visibility changes from day to day so there is no better or worse season for visibility. Water temperature ranges from 23 - 28 Celsius throughout the year so a 3 - 5mm wetsuit is sufficient to keep you comfortably warm under water. Most dive sites are only 10 minutes away and accessible all year. Bullshark diving is from May - October and Manta diving from November till April.

In Costa Rica the seasons are divided between the rainy season (which runs from May to November) and the dry season (which runs November to April). But these seasons do not affect our diving conditions. So any time of the year is great to come diving with us !

¿Alguna vez se preguntó cómo es el buceo en Costa Rica? Bueno, el lado del Pacífico ofrece sitios de buceo vírgenes de clase mundial para buzos principiantes y avanzados con una vida marina espectacular. ¿Dónde más puedes bucear con mantas, tiburones toro y ver ballenas jorobadas y delfines en el camino al sitio de buceo?
Costa Rica tiene algunos de los mejores lugares para bucear en el mundo. Coco Island está en la lista de deseos de todos los buceadores. Pero desconocido para el público en general, la costa del Pacífico tiene excelentes sitios de buceo vírgenes. Los mejores sitios se encuentran alrededor de Playas Del Coco en Guanacaste. Nuestros sitios de buceo locales ofrecen una amplia variedad de vida marina que incluye rayas águila, rayas diablo, tiburones de arrecife de punta blanca, tiburones nodriza, bancos de peces pelágicos, muchas especies de peces de arrecife y, para los entusiastas de la macro, hay nudibranquios, caballitos de mar y camarones arlequín. Si eso no es suficiente, también estamos convenientemente ubicados para bucear con Bullsharks alrededor del Archipiélago Murciélago (Islas Murciélagos). Y bucear con Mantas Oceánicas por las Islas Catalinas.

¿Cuándo bucear en Costa Rica? Nuestra ubicación ofrece excelentes oportunidades de buceo durante todo el año. La visibilidad cambia día a día, por lo que no hay mejor o peor temporada para la visibilidad. La temperatura del agua oscila entre 23 y 28 grados centígrados durante todo el año, por lo que un traje de neopreno de 3 a 5 mm es suficiente para mantenerte cómodamente abrigado bajo el agua. La mayoría de los sitios de buceo están a solo 10 minutos y son accesibles todo el año. El buceo Bullshark es de mayo a octubre y el buceo Manta de noviembre a abril.

En Costa Rica las estaciones se dividen entre la temporada de lluvias y la temporada seca. Pero estas estaciones no afectan nuestras condiciones de buceo. ¡Así que cualquier época del año es genial para venir a bucear con nosotros!
