    Thank you for the great video upload!! Having captured memorable views, what I remember, pics don't do justice. Continental Micronesia flight 957 was a childhood accomplished goal, collector of airline timetables from the 70s, 80s. Again, great job capturing spectacular views what I remember of this amazing avgeek trip many years ago.

    So cool ! I've met some of the best people from Micronesia here where I live in Mid MO. Very warm and loving people! They are all about family and there culture is so amazing! They are very proud people to be in the United States! And they love America! I've been to some of the best parties! They know how to Entertain! So many in the states today for so many reasons. Enjoyed your video!

    If you draw a straight line from Hono to Kabua there will be Johnston Island Atoll. I think it was every Thursday night it would land on it's way to gas up. I was there at J.I. in 1992/1993. It's quite a wake up call around 11 pm. The fist time it took off on my first week on the island I woke up and freaked out!!! When the plane took off. They forgot to mention that it stops at the Rock (J.I.).

    The glass of "Clase Ejecutiva" actually it's similar to what COPA Airlines used... I think it came from CM when UA had a major share of the airline years ago... I'm just guessing...

    Did they stamp your passport at least once for each country?
    Did you video the GoPro footage at a faster speed or speed it up in post? thanks.

    • @airpicts
      @airpicts  ปีที่แล้ว

      At one stop (Majuro?), the custom guy absolutely refused. At all the other stops, customs gladly stamped with a big smile (apparently they get the request all the time). GoPro (mostly) was recorded in time-lapse mode.

    Did they say why the fire truck fallowed you to the stand at a couple of those airports?

    • @airpicts
      @airpicts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fire engines at all the island airports came out and followed us. I think with so few traffic at those airports, fire fighters just want something to do?

      @@airpicts that’s pretty full! i recall seeing the amount of passengers on the Chuuk Airport crash and seeing that there wasn’t many, so i got the impression not many seats would be filled on flights to Micronesia.

    • @airpicts

      Thinking about it a bit more - I recall chatting with the crew, the first and last segments (Majuro and Chuuk) are always full and impossible to non-rev.
