captains die way too easily, it was more interesting when armies could retreat all the time. Also, weapons should be able to clip trough the edge of the screen, unites just die will being pushed otherwise
How about for an update, sound effects. Doesn't have to be individual sword swings (that would be loud XD ), but maybe the sword clash animation noise when armies meet, or when a king dies, Ragnarök , etc.
Oh HELL YEAH dynamic neutrals Especially considering that now you have neutrals capable of wandering off on their own and doing things, I think moving forward it's going to be really important to have lots of smaller villages around. Give the starting armies something to cut their teeth on instead of making a beeline towards a castle and just dying. So there's more variety in forces moving around, less of a snowball effect, and it actually feels like colors are taking territory. Overall this was a really fun and cathartic run, considering the red victory. Good stuff as always.
22:08 The red soldier came towards his captain and stated, his voice unable to hide his anguish "captain...their number is twice ours. I...I don't think we will make it..." The red captain staring at the horizon stayed silent for a few seconds. He then smirked and turned towards his army. From the wall on which he was, he could see all his men. Some fearful and trembling. Others, decided, accepting their fate as they would fight and fall for the glory of their kingdom. The captain smirked once again and lifting his hands towards the sky as if he could catch it all, he shouted : "SOLDIEEEERS!". All activity ceased. "THE ENEMY IS UPON US! NUMEROUS ! FEROCIOUS!! READY TO ANNIHILATE US ALL!!". He then waited, letting his words reach his soldiers hearts. And then continued "BUT WHAT THEY WILL FIND TODAY!! WON’T BE VICTORY!! NOOOO! WHAT THEY WILL FIND WILL BE A PROUD PEOPLE, FIGHTING FOR THEIR FAMILIES!! THEIR KIN!! WHAT THEY WILL FIND TODAY IS THE DESPERATION OF DEFEAT!! FOR THEY WILL BE FIGHTING AGAINST US!! THE CRIMSON BLOOD!! TODAY IS THE DAYYY!! As the words of their leader sank into their hearts, their minds and their very souls, the soldiers started to look up. Energized by their new found resolution, the red army’s soldiers shouted in unison making the air and the walls of the city vibrate in response. The captain smirked. They would win this war. They would suffer heavy damage, but the name the Crimson Blood battalion would forever be a name feared and respected. When the yellow troops arrived moments later, they had an idea of the massacre that would unfold, what they didn't know though was that they would the victims...
spoiler block! spoiler block! spoiler block! spoiler block! not only did red dominate from the beginning, they were also the only one who managed to keep their original army
Honestly, I've been following this series since the start. I want to see what a game of Marble Kingdoms would look like if levelling up was much easier. Seeing a bunch of captains on the field was always fun.
Here a nice idea for a one-off episode: Each nation uses a specific weapon type (red uses spears, yellow uses hammers, etc.). There are no camps and the only way to receive allies with different weapons is by conquering that weapon user’s kingdom. Maybe make the classes the usually use the sword (King & Captain) use that kingdom’s specific weapon! There’d be 5 kingdoms: Sword, Spear, Axes, Hammer & Bow.
@@BaronB.BlazikenBaronOfBarons Can you take idea from Stick War: Legacy, that means if a country gets defeated, then its weapon will be take by the slainers!
@@lostmarbles2d I kinda think that'd actually be a good way to test which weapons are the best balanced in which situations, lol. Like Archers are busted on home defense if they don't get rushed down immediately, and the spears and hammers just feel like crap compared to swords in most situations, and pale in comparison to the berserkers too.
Spoiler-marking since this apparently made top. Red lost a *singular* battle in the southernmost camp. This was no war, this was a game, a game for the reds.
They suffered one defeat from Blue That was it. And the battle they lost meant nothing since they killed blue’s last forces before retaking the camp. Absolutely brutal from red.
At 21:01 was quite a large battle, Red's whole army together against Green's castle. Here are some spoilers: While the game was mostly over, and Red had many troops to spare, these were also Red's best fighters. It's worth noting that Green had the best average experience level of any kingdom (0.01 points behind neutral, of course). Castles are very effective at supporting the defenders, as evidenced by the very initial battles of Yellow army vs Red Castle and Blue army vs Green Castle, both with defenders outnumbered at 40-20, and both victories for the defenders. This battle would be 96-74, a ratio of only 30% rather than 100%, and a difference of 22, compared to 20 in those other castle defences. The numbers, on paper, looked reasonably close going in. Featuring the super-star Gerhart and the capable Captain Pisont, the first few seconds of the battle opened with an aimless thrust through the gates by several inexperienced Red swordsmen, and a modest but effective volley of Green arrows. Red's arrows by this time had killed some, including a rather inexperienced king's guard, the arrow piercing through the manilla-colored inner walls of the courtroom. Several Red spearmen then arrived at the gates, with a great pressure of Red forces behind them, though this entire initial thrust would be cut down. By 21:10 the immediate fighting would take a pause, and the forces would number 80 and 65, indicating loses of 16 Red and 9 Green. (This ratio favors a Green victory, as 78% exceeds 30%.) On the left a minor Green counterattack would push this pressure of Red back from the gate, though costing Green more than Red. At the same time on the right, Red would push on past the gate. This minor attack would be cut down as well, and cost Red more than Green. By 21:15 Red would remain held up at the gates, and forces would number 71 and 59. Each force lost 5 around the gates here, but Red lost some additional soldiers to archers. With the marginal loses at 9-6, Green killed 50% more than Red. Remember, the overall loses must be 30% favoring Green for a successful defence. After some shoving, a fresh Red hammerman would hold the right gate, and Captain Pisont would bring the minor heroes Glorris and Van Der Hoek, with two additional knights, well through the left gate. Upon 21:19, Red would have lost 8 more in this attack, Green only suffering 2. At this moment, the forces would boast 63 Red and 57 Green: a hair's breadth from an even match in open combat, and certain victory defending a castle. By 21:24, Green would lose 21 more soldiers, and Red only 3. It would seem that the positional advantage Captain Pisont created was worth those brief loses: On the right, a Red arrow enters a Green spearman's skull just as they were about to pierce that Red Hammerman holding open the gate, who would just then find deadly blows on the noble Green archer Remi and an unknown Green swordsman. Two Green spearman and an archer rush forth and corner him, his hammer strikes a Green swordsman, but by now this Hammerman has taken several dire wounds. Retreating, he finds one more blow on yet another Green swordsman, and returns to the gate, met by his comrades. It is at this time that a man enters the right ward from the courtroom, dressed in gold-plated armor, a crown, wielding an ornate shield and sword. The time is now 21:24. Meanwhile, on the left, a Green Archer, Schriter, has knocked an arrow striking some Red archer beyond the walls. Some nameless Red knight sprints from the gate onto a Green sword, on the battlements. (Perhaps his name should've been Leroy Jenkins.) Van Der Hoek and Glorris, who wield hammers, shove their way deeper into the left ward. Van Der Hoek is struck twice (twice!) with arrows, while pummeling a Green Swordsman. Glorris has done the same just behind. Behind still, a dual-axeman kills another Green swordsman, then, with Captain Pisont and his order to push on, another, and then another again. The dual-axeman now retreats. Further ahead, Van Der Hoek, who has killed another Green swordsman, is himself killed when yet another Green swordsman met him. The time here is only 21:21. Something (or perhaps someone) is missing from this picture... As Leroy Jenkins triumphed over his own entrails, a bizarre Red man followed, up upon the battlements. With a helmet on his head, he held is two (two!) swords out wide. He walked backwards up the steps, perhaps from being shoved, and heard the Captain shout "Onward!" as he dodged the sword that ended Jenkins. With this he flailed himself Onwards, which sometimes meant to his front, and sometimes to his back! Spinning as such, he then ended two of Green's own eager fighters, and found for himself Shriter and the two other archers who'd first wounded Van Der Hoek. As the archers lay inverse-cornered by this man, the sword which killed the unnamed Leroy Jenkins, and its wielder, ran up behind. The bizarre man turned, and was struck a blow. The sword found the strike familiar, except that it now lay upon the ground, its wielder dead. Behind still a man came running, perhaps chasing the now fallen sword. It was the same Dual Axeman who was beside Captain Pisont earlier! It was now 21:24, but this bizarre man, named Gerhart, the superstar of Red's army, would think to intercept the Red Axeman, to be shoved backwards into the two archers at his sides, including Shriter, and kill them with his widely drawn swords. The Red Axeman would then walk back across the battlements and be killed by a Green swordsman's artful wallbounce. Earlier, as Van Der Hoek was killed, a Red archer marched forward into the left ward, shoved one Green soldier with a noteworthy sword, put her dagger into another, and knocked an arrow into Van Der Hoek's killer, all in one motion! She would dagger another Green swordsman and march deeper in behind Captain Pisont. With the Captain was Glorris, who had just smashed the Green archer Agnien. It was then 21:24, but Glorris would soon meet her end, not by the Green swordsman who struck her rightly, but another archer, Jumel. With Pisont and Gerhart on the scene in the left ward, the left was as good as won, though it was not without the efforts of several eager and stalwart Red regulars and minor heroes. On the right, with the King of Green, Ihintze, his majesty's entrance into the fray, the fighting would become gruesome, but the actions on the left were more than decisive. From here Gerhart and Captain Pisont alone could perhaps win, or nearly so, but of the forces themselves Green is simply without a chance. The battle would proceed through 19 Green against 41 Red, odds clearly worse than the battle's start, and without the same advantage of holding both walls. One might notice the absence of Chalres, the Green Archer who would place himself on the leaderboard. While his efforts and competence were clear, it was in vain, not merely by his and the King's death, but because his position on the right did nothing to aid the left ward against Gerhart and Pisont. Instead, Eudeline the knight, and Jumel, Tolry, Agnien, and Shriter the archers were well placed to oppose that push. They failed as a matter of course. So what does it all mean? How should Marble Kingdoms 15 be rebalanced, accounting for this battle? Well, I think it was only as close as it was because Green mustered a handful of competent archers. You know what I'd suggest? A separated King's guard, with mostly knights and archers, which cannot ever be separated into an army unless the king dies before them. That way these even fights can be biased towards heroic defences. But that was clearly not the issue with MK14. Red won because they weren't pushed down. There should be more opportunities to expand early or while behind, and more barriers preventing extreme early aggression against kingdoms. Or perhaps more peculiarly... two layers of wall? Kind of like shields on Multiply or Release, a separate "city" that surrounds the King's castle, which spawns archers but only slowly. Touching it will start an attack, but it can be passed over entirely by armies, but failing to capture the outer walls will force an invading army to bounce off the castle. (The more intuitive idea of having an invading army bounce off the outer walls or not based on whether it wins could require engine changes, this way sounds more complicated but only adds a new condition to army-city NOPEing.) The castle within can easily retake these walls from inside, probably. The outer walls should have a bias in how many archers they keep, or not send any and hit some cap.
An aimless thrust by several red swordsmen, and also Yvanna, who had been the leader of Red's second field army until the point where it joined up with the WunderMarbles.
Finally… *THE GREYS FIGHT BACK* I like how the neutrals from different weapon settlements still teamed up to create a larger army, if the grey travellers passed by.
Great video as always Lost Marbles! I got a *few* suggestions for 15 and onwards! *Suggestions:* Atmosphere: It will change barely anything in battles. But it'll set the tones of battles. -Night System: Every 3 battles it changes to night. [Just a darker map] and after another 3 battles it changes back to day -Winter: Every 15 battles it will turn into winter, during winter it *slightly* slows down marbles in battle. After 10 days winter will go away. -Sounds: I like the music like any other person does! But it makes the video feel slightly uncomfortable. Here are my sound suggestions: >Voices: The captains and the kings all have voice lines but still quiet. So I think adding A.I voices should spice it up! >Death: Any a sound for a death of a marble. >Clash: When two weapons collide it makes a *CLANK* sound. Even if you don't add this I hope you grow big someday!
Finally, the Red kingdom has finally won a gam. After so many losses and famous figures struck down. Two heroes of the kingdom Gerhart, and Captain Pisont managed to win reds first victory
Pisont and Gerhart UNDEFEATED. They were both there from the very start (Gerhart was named in the first battle of the war), which means they both fought through the entire war and won every single battle. I believe that's the first time that's happened - not just for two characters together, but even for either one of them individually.
I'm addicted to this series and love seeing all the little improvents you're making each round. Very well done! A couple of ideas came to mind that I thought I'd might as well share with you. I would really like to see units gain abilities based on their weapon once they've leveled up a couple of times (at level 3 or 4 for example) Some abilities I thought of: - Archers shoot 3 arrows at the same time every 8 seconds. - Hammer men have a 25% chance to stun their target on hit for 2 seconds - Berserkers do slightly more damage and move faster when they're low hp Another idea I had is giving the kings a bit of a storyline. The losing kings die ofcourse, but will be succeeded by their bloodline. That means they'll have a II next to their name if they've lost 1 round, then a III and so on. Whenever a kingdom wins the round, the best warrior overthrows the dynasty and becomes the next king. So for the next round red would have King Gerhard. If red loses next round the next king would become king Gerhard II. Could make thing a little bit more interesting. Sorry for the long comment btw 😅
Really cool, this was a lot of fun to watch. Only issue is that it seems like any colour that gets the upper hand early will just dominate. We need a way to help colours bounce back from early losses. Maybe a way for colours to team up on the strongest? Great work as always.
At some point in this video red just became a force of nature And this was the first duo to actually survive the whole episode, it brings tears to my eyes
Idea: Wandering neutral units can surrender and swear their allegiance to an army that conquers them. Neutral units that are stationed in buildings, however, will fight until they are all killed or until the attackers die or retreat.
3:34 I'm surprised no one is talking about this GOAT of this match they almost died at the very beginning when they stumbled upon a Blue army twice their size. I am sure that after that battle they became very attached to each other and went together until the very end, empty let Gerhard get all the glory. Really inspiring guys! (If there is anything, excuse me for any mistakes, I am not a native speaker and wrote through a translator, good luck ;3)
Great video! I think this one is a much better ruleset than 13 was and I enjoyed watching. Here's my feedback: - The 1-hit meta is great and allows for lots more strong soldiers to develop. While there's merit to the two-hit one, I believe this meta allows for much more fun and interesting battles, so I recommend keeping it so that basic marbles die in 1 hit from (most) other basic marbles' hits. - The beginning made it more clear than ever that there needs to be a readily accessible way to promote or summon new captains when one dies. I know that there is the powerup from bandits, but that's rare and hard to consistently access. - I feel like armies with very high-level soldiers often avoided fights that they easily could've won, or at least would have been interesting to see. I think the 'NOPE!' mechanic should trigger later and account for actual army level and makeup a bit more. - I saw many interesting tactics that could be considered abilities, such as a spearman charging or an axeman spinning. If these behaviours were intentional, I recommend adding more of a visual cue that these abilities are being activated to catch the viewer's eye. - The names in this one were generally better, so good job! - While Red's power trip was interesting, it left the video without much suspense. I think maybe kingdoms could make temporary alliances if one is in the lead by such a huge margin, to even the playing field. - Finally... it's been a while since our last piece of major new content. The stage is set... with high health heroes back in the meta, is it finally time for a Cleric? Keep on making awesome content!
Finaly I have being waiting for 14 years for Red finaly won I am crying so much, General Pisont and his champion Gerhart put a smike in the face of the formes red heroes who came before them
I feel like there should be big bonuses for managing to assassinate a King, like the mercenary rewards but better. It's so costly and difficulty to attack into a castle. It might also be neat to have King Level translate to spawning better units or spawning units more quickly from that castle.
honestly ? The dynamic grey is absolutely amazing, but the mecanic that a team's army doesn't respawn automatically made it very easy for red to absolutely doinate every single team without even a fight. I think this last one should be revesed back, as it allows for one team to get OP waaay too easily
Actually, having the castles send out units too fast would've been worse. If you pay attention, you'll notice that the units sent out are either equal to or greater than the largest unit on the field in terms of numbers. It allows the castles to maintain a feasible defense force for longer, which means that any assaults should be timed with whenever a new unit is sent onto the field. Sending out units at too frequent a rate leaves the castles unable to defend themselves from a large unit AND gives those large units cannon fodder to level up their soldiers quicker.
@@tylerlarsen1842 I know that, i wasnt thinking of a higher unit spawning rate, just of not letting an army get oblierated and never being able to exist again. I tink we should go back to the previous system
@tylerlarsen1842 The problem though is that just left red to dominate all the outposts and create a monopoly over the better unit types, so by waiting to push their armies out the other colors are losing the long game
My head canon for the Captain Pisont and Gerhart duo is captain Pisont asking where the F is Gerhart only for him to be on his side or another soldier next to him saying “at the enemy back line sir” and the guy just sighs every time he would here he is at the backline
gotta give credit where credit's due to de Freitas tho. man was an absolute MENACE and had he not met with general pisont so early, he actually wouldve been a scary enemy even to the absolutely overpowered gerhart force, would definitely see more action from the neutrals and maybe even the bandits by also letting them generate enemies instead of committing an odskull
20:22 Music here sums up this video/battle..... Spoilers... Red saves Blue King for last, then kills him. Red saves Green KIng for last, then kills him. Red saves Yellow King for last, then kills him. Red played with their food in *_such_* a one sided battle. ➡In real life, some battles are like this. ⬅ Thank you for still uploading it.
Idea of something you could add : something like Ragnarok, an endgame crisis, in the form of a huge external invader, like an army of 500 that can only destroy castles, forces bandits to join them and goes twice as fast as normal marbles(on the map) Also cavalry/lance cavalry/archer cavalry as elite units and/or for the captains and kings Nice video also👍
It's about time Red finally got a long overdue win on a main Marble Kingdoms video even though the other main 3 colors got their wins in like 5 episodes (Correct me if I'm wrong). And not only did he win, but his original army stayed alive with the main captain being level 6, too.
I love the success of marble kingdoms, marble legions and trench war but I feel like you should bring back growing vine battles. I know you only got a few likes on growing vine battle 2 but I would really like to see it be brought back with a few extra twists to make it more interesting. I think that series has a lot of potential but the time you released it made it not as popular. I think bringing it back now with more complex combat would make it better.
love neutral sites that get overfilled sending out troops, but they probably should leave more than one guy at home to watch the camp haha. Red basically got a berserker camp that no one else could touch for free because of good timing
The neutral armies were more effective than blue, yellow, and green combined. That’s saying something. Also Eson the Fighter survived the whole war as well. Didnt do much but he survived.
i enjoy your videos so much that i have genuinely created a cult following in my university classes where we binge watch these funny marbles compete together. at this point its an addiction. We have even gotten so inspired that we have tried to make our own versions of marble races but we are struggling to match your superiority. We look forward every day to new posts and i hope you really continue. If you ever want to, a tutorial would greatly benefit us game design students!
I've finally created a third channel where I'll be posted tutorials, for now it has a tutorial for multiply or release. Check it out here: www.youtube.com/@LostMarble1
25:22 With the final assault commenced led by Captain Edan, the king and his castle fell although fierce it doesnt garner enough merit to be made a count the king decreet. so instead the castle wil be given to the king and thus the war ends and a NEW Empire comes forth the empire OF....red
17:36 The siege of the blu kingdoms castle was exposed, after a daring detachment that has been proven fatal for them. durin the siege many prominent Lieutenants came to be most notably Blank now named the Kingslayer...Gerhart (and his now halved army after a large skirmish) heard about the battle and death of the blu kings castle and the glory that was wrought there, filled with a sense of jealousy. Gerhart hastly tryed to muster a army back at home.
4:32 wa the beggenning of gerhart (the right hand man of Captain Pisont) rise to fame and glory his duelwielding sword art proves a devastating work of art to the enemy even becoming stronger then the captain him self.
Love the new physics. Also, finally we get super prevalent heroes that survive the entire game instead of dying a sad death near the end or halfway through
21:08 RIP Yvanna Eager to battle and contributed greatly by leading the 2nd army before meeting up with Gerhart and Captain Pistont... 22:47 also shout out to these 3 berserker madlads holding out
Remember the time at the end of one of the Marble Kingdoms videos, I believe it was 5, you showed some artwork of the marbles fighting. I thought that was really cool, and if you want to do that again, I think it would be pretty neat to see some more artwork, considering all of the graphical and other updates the marbles have received since then. Again, no pressure if you don't want to do it.
it seems like this series has been built off the suggestions of the viewers, so I hope you don't mind me voicing mine First, I think hero summoning should be an option for whenever a team defeats bandits. What it would do is take a hero or heroes(because if people would be pissed if only one of a legendary duo set was summoned) from a random previous generation. The hero would be level locked to where they were in their prime, and their kill count continues from where they left off(as in, if they were summoned before and got a bunch of kills, it doesn't reset back to their original kill count when they are summoned again) Additionally, the rules of the generation the hero is summoned from will still apply to them(and only them). So things like the nameless red(who if summoned, will still be nameless or[and only because I think it would be funny] would have a different name every time he is summoned) of the third war's shield bash are just as lethal as they were back in his day, but even though the nameless is a commander, he will not have the onwards ability like his successors. Zaria's arrows would still be able to go through walls, but she would not be equipped with a knife like her fellow archers I do think that in order to avoid disappointment from what would likely be a very rare reward option if added, wars that did not produce a hero that reached level 4 or higher should be excluded from the selection process and the hero that is selected can be from any team including neutral.(though a hero should not be allowed to be summoned into the team that killed them) On top of that, if the upgrade is selected, all the other teams get put in a plinko to see if they can also summon a hero.(personally, I think there should be a greater chance of other teams being also being able to summon heroes than not, but I'm not opposed to it being less likely, but with the other options being minor stat boosts or something similar) The best part of this is that it would be able to solve debates on who would win between heroes of different wars in glorious dramatic fashion It might not be so satisfying to have the same hero summoned too often, so if a hero is summoned, they can't be summoned again for the next three wars, and heroes of the war the directly preceded the current one also can not be summoned. with the exception that all non-excluded heroes have been summoned, where only the heroes closest to being put back on the summoning roster would be able to be picked. Also, while this should be a given, a hero can't be summoned into the same war twice, especially not if they are still alive With as rare as the reward would likely be, I don't see that being an issue, but if there are multiple back-to-back wars with high hero summonings where multiple kingdoms summon a hero per summoning, the well might end up bleeding dry every now and then. It will be less likely to happen as more wars are fought and new heroes come into being, but you never know what might happen in these wars. Now when the hero is actually summoned, I think it would be cool if it started a battle between the hero and the army that summoned it. If the army wins, any soldiers who died would be revived and the hero would join the army that summoned it.(whoever actually subdues the hero should get a HUUGE stat boost and a title reflecting the accomplishment) If the hero wins, well it just becomes the army(it would still fight for the team that summoned it, since it would be unfair for it to defect when them being summoned was supposed to be a reward) Now that was my big request, something that probably will need to go through lots of tweaks and changes before being remotely balanced, but I do have some smaller requests as well A reward option to add spikes onto an army's shields(In honor of the nameless red who was practically more deadly with their shield than with their sword) while the hammers are tanky and have produced several named units, very few were able to reach level two, and even less to level three to compensate for their slow movement speed, the helmet they gain at level three should be earned when they are first named so that they are more likely to actually survive. I've seen so many level one hammers rise only to die seconds later. there should be a hidden stat called hubris. If an army gets five consecutive wins, they start gaining hubris. Every battle won after this point gains hubris, and every point of hubris makes the army more and more reckless causing them to take on larger armies, and making the retreat option take more casualties to appear. If an army reaches max hubris, they will pick every fight and they will not retreat under any circumstances. An army loses hubris if they lose a battle, and if they lose three battles in a row, their hubris will be completely reset and the army won't be able to gain hubris again until the original units are outnumbered by fresh recruits. castles should hang banners of their team's 5 strongest heroes of the current war as well as a banner for their teams strongest hero of all time. a catapult unit. wildly inaccurate like the mage, but high aoe damage and its projectiles can destroy obstacles. the amount of hits needed to destroy an obstacle depends on what it is and the level of the catapult, but basically, castle walls are the strongest and forest trees the weakest. catapults cannot be destroyed, but will need to be manned by other units to be used. aoe range would be slightly less than mage and would not increase with levels after level 2, in return damage increases by a larger amount per level after level 2. catapults would make it easier for a teams archers to fire into places that would otherwise be safe from their arrows. units who cause a lot of carnage with their catapults should get special titles like castle buster(destroy a castle wall) or master of the siege(gain three levels using the catapult) a ballista unit. EXTREMELY low rate of fire, but they fire high damage piercing projectiles. exclusive to castles and require an archer to man it. can't be destroyed but the archer manning it is still vulnerable. they should only be granted as a reward, but if a castle with ballistas is captured, whoever pulls it off gets to keep them shielded units can block a ballista bolt, but they will be flung HARD(like comically hard to the point of them looking more like a pinball than a soldier)from the impact and take a portion of their remaining health(if they survive the rest of the battle, they should earn the title "descendant of Maple" after the legendary shielder Maple, who was renowned for her unbreakable defence and ability to survive despite all odds) ballistas would be the counter to catapults and their wall busting, and as such, will go out of their way to target whoever is manning them over other enemies units who cause lots of carnage with ballistas should get special titles like army splitter(kill 10% or more of the invading army or more in a single shot) or master of the siege (gain 3 levels while using the ballista) Names granted to marbles that become legends should have regional numbers(the roman numerals you see at the end of a name sometimes) added onto them when used again. that way people can keep track of how many times the name has been used since it became connected with a legendary figure.(to make it so that we don't quickly see names like Timmy LXXXVIII, make it so that only marbles with a legendary name who become legends themselves are remembered by time. basically, if a marble's story is interesting enough to be turned into stories by the commenters, they become the definitive holder of that name.(although, it is possible for the names to skip a number in the history books if two marbles have the same name at the same time and the one who received the name second[and would therefore have a higher number] went on to become a legend while the other died shortly after receiving the name without doing anything noteworthy) my final request, and I'm not sure if this is a thing you're already doing and I haven't noticed, but I think it would be cool if titles could be added on to over the course of the war. I just think it would be really funny if there was a unit going around known as Xander the One Man Army Kingslayer Master of the Siege Summoner of Heroes Castle Buster Army Splitter... IV
it'd be great to have boss battles against the bandits that give extra prizes. One boss is basically just Thor with a hammer that can deal damage to more than 1 enemies' at once (within a 2 marble radius or something). Another would be a valkary with double axes and a helmet thats faster than average. One could be an angle (wings for defense?) with a big spear. One would have throwing knives. one would have a big sythe that spins fast. one would have a crossbow that has piercing damage. just a bunch of bosses in the center. they all have the same amount of health as one of those bigger guys they were fighting anyways.
As a proud red supremacist I see this as an absolute win I enjoyed it alot Lots of people probably already proposed this, but maybe add in some kind of "endgame crisis" for the winning kingdom to complete or maybe make the map expand at or near the end to expose a greater threat. I know that you probably look at what people enjoy the most and that marble kingdom has not the most cost efficient work to views ratio, but man, we both know that marble kingdoms is kinda your baby now and that it is by far the coolest shit you have made and to me one of the coolest marble simulation there is. I hope you keep on upgrading this shit and adding new stuff. Cheers mate
Spoiler blocker Pisont and Gerhart remind me of those two orange guys from episode 4. The way Gerhart grew levels much faster than Pisont, just like how the dual sword wielding orange had more levels than the captain. Plus the way they win basically every battle together
This one seemed a little one-sided, and I think it was because it took so long for non-red kingdoms to create a new army that red was able to control the board at the beginning. Also I had a thought about walls and how arrows interact with them. Maybe some walls can have windows spaced throughout, and arrows can only pass through those, probably represented by as transparent colors. If it's possible to set archers to stay near windows that'd make sense but I dunno how possible something that advanced is.
I think the idea of "mercenaries", that can join the kingdom that has no captain (and basically give them captain + some lvl 1-2 units) will be good. And maybe more types of landscapes (rivers, swamps, rocky biome and so on)
20:19 Gerhart after some unotabl battles, wanted his veteran army to be stronger. luckily for him he came across a detached army, seeking a new Captain and thus Gerhart's army became the BIGGEST army of the four kingdoms by far but wil this last ? and wil he be able to prove himself before the king by taking a castle....

Nice one, outstanding perfomance by red, the rest couldn't do much.
This was very one sided.
Maybe more players and camp net time ?
captains die way too easily, it was more interesting when armies could retreat all the time.

Oh HELL YEAH dynamic neutrals
Especially considering that now you have neutrals capable of wandering off on their own and doing things, I think moving forward it's going to be really important to have lots of smaller villages around.

The red soldier came towards his captain and stated, his voice unable to hide his anguish "captain...their number is twice ours.
And then continued
"BUT WHAT THEY WILL FIND TODAY!!

Honestly, I've been following this series since the start. I want to see what a game of Marble Kingdoms would look like if levelling up was much easier. Seeing a bunch of captains on the field was always fun.
Here a nice idea for a one-off episode:
Each nation uses a specific weapon type (red uses spears, yellow uses hammers, etc.).
That's a cool idea! Will be lots of arguments about which weapon is OP
@@lostmarbles2d Maybe give spears the slightest bit of tracking against enemy marbles so they aren’t steamrolled by the other weapons.
@@BaronB.BlazikenBaronOfBarons Can you take idea from Stick War: Legacy, that means if a country gets defeated, then its weapon will be take by the slainers!
Poderia haver Crowsbow( aquela arma desenvolvida na França antiga)
@@lostmarbles2d I kinda think that'd actually be a good way to test which weapons are the best balanced in which situations, lol. Like Archers are busted on home defense if they don't get rushed down immediately, and the spears and hammers just feel like crap compared to swords in most situations, and pale in comparison to the berserkers too.

At 21:01 was quite a large battle, Red's whole army together against Green's castle. Here are some spoilers:
While the game was mostly over, and Red had many troops to spare, these were also Red's best fighters.
(This ratio favors a Green victory, as 78% exceeds 30%.)
On the left a minor Green counterattack would push this pressure of Red back from the gate, though costing Green more than Red.
It would seem that the positional advantage Captain Pisont created was worth those brief loses:
On the right, a Red arrow enters a Green spearman's skull just as they were about to pierce that Red Hammerman holding open the gate, who would just then find deadly blows on the noble Green archer Remi and an unknown Green swordsman.
My god do you have free time

Great video as always Lost Marbles! I got a *few* suggestions for 15 and onwards!
*Suggestions:* Atmosphere: It will change barely anything in battles. But it'll set the tones of battles.
-Night System: Every 3 battles it changes to night. [Just a darker map] and after another 3 battles it changes back to day
-Winter: Every 15 battles it will turn into winter, during winter it *slightly* slows down marbles in battle. After 10 days winter will go away.
-Sounds: I like the music like any other person does! But it makes the video feel slightly uncomfortable. Here are my sound suggestions:
>Voices: The captains and the kings all have voice lines but still quiet. So I think adding A.I voices should spice it up!
>Death: Any a sound for a death of a marble.
>Clash: When two weapons collide it makes a *CLANK* sound.
Even if you don't add this I hope you grow big someday!

I would really like to see units gain abilities based on their weapon once they've leveled up a couple of times (at level 3 or 4 for example)
Some abilities I thought of:
- Archers shoot 3 arrows at the same time every 8 seconds.
- Hammer men have a 25% chance to stun their target on hit for 2 seconds
- Berserkers do slightly more damage and move faster when they're low hp
Another idea I had is giving the kings a bit of a storyline.
Sorry for the long comment btw 😅
im glad the unit of a duo of Pisont and Gerhart started off with a sick assist between the two
I actually think that was the red boy's first win, finally, been cheering for 'em
Really cool, this was a lot of fun to watch. Only issue is that it seems like any colour that gets the upper hand early will just dominate. We need a way to help colours bounce back from early losses. Maybe a way for colours to team up on the strongest?
Great work as always.
At some point in this video red just became a force of nature
And this was the first duo to actually survive the whole episode, it brings tears to my eyes
Idea:
Wandering neutral units can surrender and swear their allegiance to an army that conquers them.
Finally the reds win!! and with great heroes like Gerhart and Pisont.
Great video! I think this one is a much better ruleset than 13 was and I enjoyed watching. Here's my feedback:
- The 1-hit meta is great and allows for lots more strong soldiers to develop.
Gerhart and Pisont, destroyers of worlds, lived from start to finish, all ready thought they were invincible then they got the plot armor upgrade lol

Tales will grow into legends of both the tactical genius of Captain Pison and of the swirld of death that was his second in command, Gerhart
I feel like there should be big bonuses for managing to assassinate a King, like the mercenary rewards but better. It's so costly and difficulty to attack into a castle. It might also be neat to have King Level translate to spawning better units or spawning units more quickly from that castle.

Every time a marble kingdoms gets posted, am angel gets their wings
honestly ? The dynamic grey is absolutely amazing, but the mecanic that a team's army doesn't respawn automatically made it very easy for red to absolutely doinate every single team without even a fight. I think this last one should be revesed back, as it allows for one team to get OP waaay too easily
It op, but realistic
I argree, it need to fix, with it no interest

Again, no pressure if you don't want to do it.
it seems like this series has been built off the suggestions of the viewers, so I hope you don't mind me voicing mine
First, I think hero summoning should be an option for whenever a team defeats bandits.
What it would do is take a hero or heroes(because if people would be pissed if only one of a legendary duo set was summoned) from a random previous generation.
The hero would be level locked to where they were in their prime, and their kill count continues from where they left off(as in, if they were summoned before and got a bunch of kills, it doesn't reset back to their original kill count when they are summoned again)
Additionally, the rules of the generation the hero is summoned from will still apply to them(and only them).
So things like the nameless red(who if summoned, will still be nameless or[and only because I think it would be funny] would have a different name every time he is summoned) of the third war's shield bash are just as lethal as they were back in his day, but even though the nameless is a commander, he will not have the onwards ability like his successors.
Zaria's arrows would still be able to go through walls, but she would not be equipped with a knife like her fellow archers
I do think that in order to avoid disappointment from what would likely be a very rare reward option if added, wars that did not produce a hero that reached level 4 or higher should be excluded from the selection process and the hero that is selected can be from any team including neutral.(though a hero should not be allowed to be summoned into the team that killed them)
On top of that, if the upgrade is selected, all the other teams get put in a plinko to see if they can also summon a hero.(personally, I think there should be a greater chance of other teams being also being able to summon heroes than not, but I'm not opposed to it being less likely, but with the other options being minor stat boosts or something similar)
The best part of this is that it would be able to solve debates on who would win between heroes of different wars in glorious dramatic fashion
It might not be so satisfying to have the same hero summoned too often, so if a hero is summoned, they can't be summoned again for the next three wars, and heroes of the war the directly preceded the current one also can not be summoned. with the exception that all non-excluded heroes have been summoned, where only the heroes closest to being put back on the summoning roster would be able to be picked. Also, while this should be a given, a hero can't be summoned into the same war twice, especially not if they are still alive
With as rare as the reward would likely be, I don't see that being an issue, but if there are multiple back-to-back wars with high hero summonings where multiple kingdoms summon a hero per summoning, the well might end up bleeding dry every now and then. It will be less likely to happen as more wars are fought and new heroes come into being, but you never know what might happen in these wars.
Now when the hero is actually summoned, I think it would be cool if it started a battle between the hero and the army that summoned it. If the army wins, any soldiers who died would be revived and the hero would join the army that summoned it.(whoever actually subdues the hero should get a HUUGE stat boost and a title reflecting the accomplishment)
If the hero wins, well it just becomes the army(it would still fight for the team that summoned it, since it would be unfair for it to defect when them being summoned was supposed to be a reward)
Now that was my big request, something that probably will need to go through lots of tweaks and changes before being remotely balanced, but I do have some smaller requests as well
A reward option to add spikes onto an army's shields(In honor of the nameless red who was practically more deadly with their shield than with their sword)
while the hammers are tanky and have produced several named units, very few were able to reach level two, and even less to level three
to compensate for their slow movement speed, the helmet they gain at level three should be earned when they are first named so that they are more likely to actually survive.
An army loses hubris if they lose a battle, and if they lose three battles in a row, their hubris will be completely reset and the army won't be able to gain hubris again until the original units are outnumbered by fresh recruits.
castles should hang banners of their team's 5 strongest heroes of the current war as well as a banner for their teams strongest hero of all time.
a catapult unit. wildly inaccurate like the mage, but high aoe damage and its projectiles can destroy obstacles. the amount of hits needed to destroy an obstacle depends on what it is and the level of the catapult, but basically, castle walls are the strongest and forest trees the weakest.
catapults cannot be destroyed, but will need to be manned by other units to be used.
aoe range would be slightly less than mage and would not increase with levels after level 2, in return damage increases by a larger amount per level after level 2. catapults would make it easier for a teams archers to fire into places that would otherwise be safe from their arrows.
units who cause a lot of carnage with their catapults should get special titles like castle buster(destroy a castle wall) or master of the siege(gain three levels using the catapult)
a ballista unit. EXTREMELY low rate of fire, but they fire high damage piercing projectiles. exclusive to castles and require an archer to man it. can't be destroyed but the archer manning it is still vulnerable.
they should only be granted as a reward, but if a castle with ballistas is captured, whoever pulls it off gets to keep them
shielded units can block a ballista bolt, but they will be flung HARD(like comically hard to the point of them looking more like a pinball than a soldier)from the impact and take a portion of their remaining health(if they survive the rest of the battle, they should earn the title "descendant of Maple" after the legendary shielder Maple, who was renowned for her unbreakable defence and ability to survive despite all odds)
ballistas would be the counter to catapults and their wall busting, and as such, will go out of their way to target whoever is manning them over other enemies
units who cause lots of carnage with ballistas should get special titles like army splitter(kill 10% or more of the invading army or more in a single shot) or master of the siege (gain 3 levels while using the ballista)
Names granted to marbles that become legends should have regional numbers(the roman numerals you see at the end of a name sometimes) added onto them when used again. that way people can keep track of how many times the name has been used since it became connected with a legendary figure.(to make it so that we don't quickly see names like Timmy LXXXVIII, make it so that only marbles with a legendary name who become legends themselves are remembered by time. basically, if a marble's story is interesting enough to be turned into stories by the commenters, they become the definitive holder of that name.(although, it is possible for the names to skip a number in the history books if two marbles have the same name at the same time and the one who received the name second[and would therefore have a higher number] went on to become a legend while the other died shortly after receiving the name without doing anything noteworthy)
my final request, and I'm not sure if this is a thing you're already doing and I haven't noticed, but I think it would be cool if titles could be added on to over the course of the war. I just think it would be really funny if there was a unit going around known as Xander the One Man Army Kingslayer Master of the Siege Summoner of Heroes Castle Buster Army Splitter... IV
13:19 no de freitas you protected your village
Always good to see Red winning
The first victory of red
Finally The Noble Brothers of orange for the fourth video gets reincarnated😁
Can't imagine how much people lost hope in red when yellow attacked their fortress with twice as many soldiers
This is Gerhart's world, we're just living in it
I love this.
it'd be great to have boss battles against the bandits that give extra prizes.
13:17 rest in peace de freitas, the warrior that was alone
As a proud red supremacist I see this as an absolute win
I enjoyed it alot
Lots of people probably already proposed this, but maybe add in some kind of "endgame crisis" for the winning kingdom to complete or maybe make the map expand at or near the end to expose a greater threat.
Cheers mate
My proposal would be that if a faction has over 50% of troops and locations, all the other factions become a team until they either win or lose
Spoiler blocker
Pisont and Gerhart remind me of those two orange guys from episode 4. The way Gerhart grew levels much faster than Pisont, just like how the dual sword wielding orange had more levels than the captain. Plus the way they win basically every battle together
Loving the new spearman mechanics. I feel like they’re finally balanced and realized as a unit
And the medal of honor goes to the Hero Gerhart of team Red.
If this was a game I would buy it its so cool!
