- I scrambled to get this done before the month ended. It is 3AM and I'm beat!
I started on this like 3-4 years ago lol. The art noticeably changes throughout because of the long span of time I've worked on it. If you've followed me since the beginning, this is the expanded version of a comic I made titled "Like I'm Gonna Lose You," named after a song that was the inspiration. I physically cringe whenever I see that comic pop up now because it was so poorly drawn.
I often think it's a shame that mental health isn't explored more in the show. These two are literal children who are burdened with saving the world and I can't imagine what a toll it would take on their mental state. Well, I guess that's what fanfics are for.

I think it's written somewhat better. I'm not good at analyzing or anything, but this just seems better. it might be the fact that this is much more realistic, they can't add this type of stuff because it's for ALL ages(i.e: the blood). I like this :3

That’s exactly what my friends and I say when we talk about the people who literally die during the akuma attacks. Surely they’d remember being brought back to life. What about the people who’ve been victims and died multiple times?
I bet they wake up screaming about that time, they got turned into a Knight and thrown off a roof by Cat Noir, or the time they got turned into a giant catfish, or were frozen solid, were made to hate their loved ones, were chase by a 15 foot tall giant spider or a T-rex, got shot into space, or drowned - or saw half of Paris destroyed by a super Volcano. Some of which they'd remember some not.
They usually don't remember what happened at the attack tho

Well I 'read' them too.. some of them are ridiculously long - I was reading a 300,000 word series the other day.
I'm actually looking to see what the writers do with the Shanghai and New York specials - I suspect they will give them something they'd want to fix or tell in a different way or make a sequel too.

Yeah Poor Marinette - she's had her will broken down by the stress of being Ladybug, and having to much to do, and school worries, and then she see's her Best Male Friend repeatedly suiciding himself for her. When really a lot of the time it would help if they both were just paying more attention to the fight. Now she finds out that it's the love of her life repeating jumping under the bus wheels and that now he knows his Princess is his lady - he's even more likely to do it even more enthusiastically. I bet the poor girls just feels 'tired' & worn down and what should have been a happy resolution in this mind state will feel somewhat melancholic.
She has grown to love Cat Noir (in her own way) he's very dear to her for all her denials and borderline bullying of him. & she was besotted with Adrien for ages.
But coming back of yet another self-sacrifice : I wouldn't be at all surprised if the girl breaks down in tears, she was already nearly catatonic at Cat Noir dying in front of her yet again (another one to add to the nightmares list) now she can spice those nightmares up with seeing Adrien die over and over as well.
She might have been better off when she was pretending not to care at all.

I am so glad you took their mental health into consideration. The actual series, as well as a fair few fan works I have come across, are entertaining, yet not very realistic. I mean, in real life, if I had to go through that I would seriously have to have therapy in order to mentally process the trauma. In the show, it's like protecting Paris from Hawkmoth is just a walk in the park for those two teens.
You brought up a great point in your description: It is a very important factor that too often, is overlooked.
I just want to say, I am SO very grateful that I do not have to bear the burdens that those two have to carry. I already have enough mental issues as it is. Between my extreme anxiety, mild depression, ADHD, and Autism, I am all set in the mentally crazy department ;).
