Thank you for posting this. Our local Air Force Base had a large number of these aircraft in the early 50s. The instructors and students I knew enjoyed flying the T-28. Of course the Navy version was more powerful, but to me when someone mentions the T-28, I always think of the A model and those days long ago, when they graced the sky over our part of North Florida.
The AF "A" Model WAS a 1300Wright with a Two Blade Prop--when you saw one For Sale, it usually said the Motor was Changed to a More Plentiful 1340 AN With a 3 Bladed Prop--Is that the Case Here.?...Good Looking Plane.
Nobody owns these aircraft.......you are the temporary CUSTODIAN! Well done
