I think if it didn't have that very tutu-like band around it and they attached it to the shirt in a different way then it would look much better. Also if it was paired with a plain shirt underneath, it wouldn't look as busy as it does. The focus would be completely drawn to the tutu

I'm reasonably convinced the shirt says UNTIL THE END, not just a mash of letters, if nobody's pointed that out yet ^^
That would explain the skeletal hand.
It's also written in Cyrillic alphabet which adds to the confusion. It's gibberish in Russian (or any other language that uses Cyrillic alphabet) because it's supposed to be read in English. For example the first letter that looks like a reversed N is pronounced as the "E" in the word "English".

Yeah, I think the big problem is that the skirt looks separate from the shirt. If the top hem and elastic line were hidden and it just looked like a big draped ruffle, it would still be bold and different but wouldn't look like two different articles are clothing.

I am a fan of the asymmetrical drapery look but I dislike the material. It just looks like a child's dress up tutu, especially where it connects to the shirt. I think you could get a much better look with a caplet or a half capelet. I suppose what really draws me to it is if you squint from a few blocks away it kind of looks like the top of an Indian Sari. (IMO Sari's are the best looking clothing)

To me, it looks like someone at the factory miss read the fabric order form and sent lavender instead of dark gray or black and the sewers just made them anyway. The style kinda works, but the color is a big problem.
