I’ll be honest.. I absolutely HATE that your TH-cam grows so slowly. You are one of my go to anglers to learn from and you make such high quality videos. Keep it up 👍
It isn't always easy. I fish saltwater and I have my own boat... Sometimes I wish I was fishing from shore because the boat doesn't always stay where you want it too. The big motor also scares them sometimes! Fishing in general is tricky. Boat and shore both have their pros and cons.
I don't have much luck with the chatterbait but the spinner is my number one lure. It works almost anywhere, under any conditions, year around. At least here in the southeast where I am. I use them mainly in creeks and rivers.
Thank you for tips and tricks man. I am always looking to out fish the boys 😎 I have been ripping lips like nothing. Everyone laughs at me, I am legit the only female down fishing at my local spots that are hot spots year round cuz of the swamps.
I love love love cranking season, the chatterbait and spinner are fun but there's so many different styles of cranks to be used. No company beats the 6 at the hard bait colors or actions!
Spinnerbait changed the game for me. And only because I found one with a paddle tail swimmer. When I finally decided to throw it, I hit my PB largemouth, strangely a 6.5 largemouth, and caught about 15 fish on it that day. Been my primary ever since, although topwater has become easier as we go into fall, buzzbait and a pop r are holding their own.
Ive experienced in my local dams that with spinnerbaits and chatterbaits the blades stop turning as those thin slimy grass gets caught in the blades. Youl feel the shaking than it stops and youd think its a posible fish but when you pul the lures out there is this green, think its called blanket weed, hanging over the blades. Our dams have allot of this al over. No matter the type of lure you throw you get that on every cast in small ponds and lakes. Realy us a pain as cast after cast you first have to remove the weeds than cast again. And this happens allot to me and quite early on during my retrieve and i beleave if the chatter bait does not chatter any more or the spinnerblade does not spin anymore youl have this lure with long threada of blanket weed getting pulled back rendering the lure useless and unnatural in apearance. Im stil looking for a way to remedy this.
Great tips. You reminded me of the things that I am doing wrong, which is why I haven't caught anything lately. Tough to lose the summer ways of doing things. Love those soft plastics but I'm going to grab three or four poles with those lures and cover a lot of ground. If you had to throw a soft plastic right now ,what kind and size would you be thinking of? Thanks!
It’s the Anglr Bullseye! Pretty cool deal for pre-fishing/breaking down water but even better for actually fishing. The Anglr app is basically a digital logbook that allows you to drop waypoints and saves all sorts of data about each fish catch that you can come back in later and view or edit. Stuff like wind speed and direction, air temp, barometric pressure, etc. The app is free but they offer add-ons like the Bullseye that just make it a lot easier to use. That’s the little thing on my hat in the video. It’s like 30 bucks but you can bluetooth link it to your phone and that way each time you catch a fish you just hit the Bullseye and it logs all that stuff without having to take your phone out each time. People compare ANGLR to Fishbrain, but it’s much more helpful at making you a better angler than Fishbrain
@@TylersReelFishing that makes sense! looking for a smaller profile. I'm just trying to find other options since a crank bait eats loads of crap on the bottom lol thank you!
Hey Tyler, my sons and I have just started watching you for a few weeks and subscribed today. The tips are awesome and helpful. I was wondering if you could give me tips on a heavy fished lake that has had tiger muskie added years back that brought pan fishing etc. way down. I can get small mouth hits on a frog in one small pond but swear it's same fish everyday just on a different color frog lol. The bass and other predators are chasing shad and when I tried a shad swim bait right in the chaos I still had no luck. I bank fish only I do not have a boat so any advice would be wonderful. I am in Illinois as well so we are in fall transition, weather just been weird yesterday was 80 and today is 68 lol.
What is your opinion on putting a swimbait trailer on single hook spinnerbait? I have found a diesel minnow on it gives the fish something to grab onto
My problem is that i can't find any fish- i've check creek mouths, coves, lay-downs, ect, but i still can't find fish- not even baitfish. any suggestions? I'm fishing a meduim sized lake.
Chatterbaits are my fav lure to ues year round for bass. I have even had some pike hit bass lures this year. My record pike is 37 inches. Not huge but big for me and a heck of a fight and a good time. Not a fan of their teeth.
Where are you fishing it (shore, boat, open water v. vegetation)? Keep trying. Also, check out Brian Latimer’s video on the Chatterbait - some new tricks.
Man I swear all my life I've always tried to use a spinner bait with no luck.... But as soon as i put on a rooster tail I start nailing fish. Yet I still find myself buying spinners and buzz baits lmao. Everyone around me catches fish on spinners. I'll never understand it lmao
The string on your hoodie is killing me.
For real
I love that you don't forget us pond guys! Once my kid is thru college, then it'll be bass boat time :)
That will be a grand event!

Thanks Sody! Hey, gotta be happy with whatever growth I can have 👍🏼
You have the same exact spinnerbait talk back to back lol, I was confused though i accidentally re winded.
i rewatched it again to see if I rewinded or if he said it twice
Haha for real.
Deja vu
I would love to see people like this with these big boats go to pressured state parks and fish from the bank and see how they do
Fishing on the water in a big boat isn’t always as easy as they make it look. I would know.

Yeah, anyone can catch a fish with access to the whole body of water and a $2k fish finder. Not that I think Tyler is one of those guys, he has skills
@@mikerusso4775 oh I definitely think he has skills id just like to see him do it
I gurentee that fishing from a boat is harder than fishing from shore
Loved the fancy bait intros, nice touch 👍🏼
Thanks man you’ve helped me grow so much in fishing keep up the work!
I love it!
Started to sound like a broken record there for a moment😂
Hope you all have been having good day stay safe everyone and keep on fishing
i deploy in a week.. pumped to see how yall do in the spring spawn! see yall in june!

i bass fish here in MN and this helped a lot, Thanks Tyler!!
Got tons more videos coming for you then!
@@TylersReelFishing thanks man!!
Finally came around back to the spinner bait huh???? Lol good to see you come back around!
Haha yep
Very useful man I’ve been searching this for weeks and it was worth the wait for this vid the bite is super slow for the fall around Wisconsin
Got a Wisconsin video comin for ya soon
I’m the same
I fish the same spot every time and it’s so pressured
I am rewatching this video from last year to get ready for the fall this year!
That is what I like to see!

double hook spinnerbait or single
Heavy cover the trailer hook would get snagged more but I just throw it without the trailer hook
You should do giveaways with your old gopros. Loved the Fished out Parody!
I love love love cranking season, the chatterbait and spinner are fun but there's so many different styles of cranks to be used. No company beats the 6 at the hard bait colors or actions!
Gotta add one more...lipless cranks jack fall fish. Shad patterns all day.
You should come by Jeffers pond you can catch up to 10 pound carp big bass and pike as well
200 wooo... great vid but that hoodie string, oh mylanta. Keep em coming!
Love the vids
Thanks bro, now im ready for the fall!
Tyler you should do another another Texas bass challenge
Amazing Video like always! Full of practical info!!! Keep it coming! You have inspired me to do my one videos 🙏🏽🎣

That’s awesome!
Spinner is my go to as well and I love the 1/8 oz strike king mini king. I can cast it anywhere and work it real slow in the shallows.
What color spinner do you recommend 🤔 for fall
what knot should I tie for spinnerbaits cuz I tie palamor and it always slides down
You must be tying it incorrectly then, as mine never slips down
hj Tyler, new subscriber, found you thru Jon b and Grant, awesome video, be safe, thank you, bill in Ky
Hey bill! Glad to have ya around
That's exactly what I've been using! 😄
I’ll be out there tomorrow chucking square bills. The bottom dropped out on temps for us here. Overnight frost, temps in the mid 30’s at sunrise.
Good luck!
Crazy because I live in Emily Minnesota

Suggestions for small neighborhood lakes with muddy bottoms? Bank fishing now but getting a kayak soon.
Weightless soft plastics

Thats awesome thanks man ill have to look into that
Like the intro
Master Tyler Sir, would an underspin be another good choice?
Could be! I use that more in the fall to winter transition

What trailer do you have on the bladed jig?
Usually the blade minnow by strike king
Thanks for the tips

Thanks Justin!

Minnesota gang
Any suggestions for fishing heavy standing timber that's all that is around where I fish at
Thanks bud I appreciate the advice
Still waiting on that squarebill bite to heat up here in MN. We're getting close.
Well I’m bummed I’m gonna miss it!
@@TylersReelFishing the up and down weather isn't helping right now.. 60s this week.. 80s next week..
Can I use a Texas rig or not
What is your opinion on putting a swimbait trailer on single hook spinnerbait? I have found a diesel minnow on it gives the fish something to grab onto
I do it sometimes, but it’s all personal preference
How can you make a chatterbait more weedless?
Why do you use a medium heavy rod for Crankbaits over a medium power. Because there are a lot of people that use medium?
Cause this one says Squarebill on it haha. Mediums are usually better but I’ve loved this rod
TylersReelFishing haha ok 👌
How did you put it into sections?!?
Look at the bottom of the video description
I got a lot of dirty water ponds around me will the spinnerbait still work?
Yes it’s ideal for that!
Is a trailer useful on the spinner bait lure?
Yes, I use it every time in open water
What camo hoody / sweater are you wearing at the end while fishing
This one here! It’s so legit dude: aftco.com/products/reaper-camo-long-sleeve-fleece?variant=31296685211753
You can use code “TRF” for 15% off your order too
TylersReelFishing thanks man!
I got flashbacks in the beginning to GMM
Let's talk about that!
I’ve heard that haha
Feel like you’ve mentioned it before, but why don’t you used a trailer on the spinner bait?
Just preference. I will in the winter/pre-spawn though
U should teach us about crappie fishing
I made it on bass team weat divison Texas High school bass association
Hey dude me two ready for Lewisville next weekend
I’m in middle school and I can’t wait for the high school bass team
Nice

Congrats buddy!!

Try ultra shallow and ultra deep
Should I still use Shad colors in small ponds??
If they are eating shad, yep!
TylersReelFishing ok thanks 👍
@@bunz4030 if shad doesn't work (which it doesn't for me) go green pumpkin/bluegill
Vincent Cuccia ok thank you
when u were throwing the chatter bait how deep were u one average
3-5ft
Tyler, I would like you to not only provide the power of the rod but the action (fast, mod fast etc.) Would be nice too. Thank you!
I always link the specific rod in the description, so you can see the power and action as well
Added step and you have to take the time to click the link and go through the added steps to select it. Btw you have a link that cannot be found.
Hmm, I’ll replace that. Thank you. I do that extra step to make it easier for y’all to purchase it
Can you make a video for salmón ??
No
Chatterbait! Please do a video on the Chatterbait
I will!
love it!
Have you ever done saltwater fishing? Thinking of getting into it.
I enjoy it! Just not enough time for everything
How many Red Bulls do you drink b4 you make a video lol, awesome vids bro, keep em comin.🎣🎣🎣
None
Another very informative video,Tyler👍 Thank you!! Question for you, do you put a trailer on your spinner bait or do you always use it as is?
I hardly ever put a trailer on them
When Tyler puts the sane clip in twice

How did you know?? I’ve got tons of homework due tomorrow lol.
What's ur favorite bait for winter??
You’ll hear when it gets to winter
Why bottle flip when you can flip a bass like this man

Don't really throw reaction baits in the summer time?🤔
I still do of course, but not near as much. And that’s totally depending on where I live
Am I going crazy or did he accidentally put the same clip in there back to back?? Around 5 mins in
I saw that too lol I thought it was serious deja vu 😂

TylersReelFishing it’s probably bc your videos are actually really good and the intro music doesn’t make or break your videos, or it’s just me 😅
Is it jest me or did he repeat himself like twice
I did. Editing error
I get it this is my first time watching one of you videos and I loved it I already subbed
I jest Brock my thumb so it’s sad I can’t fish anymore
