I got this keyboard for Christmas in 1987. I still have it at my parents house. I remember there were two versions of this keyboard sold at the same time...there was this model and another model with a different display and only had one speaker that was slightly cheaper, I think it was the PSS-170. These keyboards hold up well. You just need to take care of them.

I remember seeing one of these in a second hand shop back in early 2006 but I left it there because I wanted
a PSS-280 as the PSS-280 has all the tuned percussion sounds I wanted ( toy piano, celesta, glass celesta,
music box and glockenspiel whereas I don't think the PSS-270 has a glockenspiel if I remember correctly
but it does have 2 marimba sounds ). The PSS-280 also has dual voice, maybe if I ever come across another
PSS-270 in a second hand shop I might buy it.

i inherited one of these that was sitting under a staircase for a very long time and had gotten paint dripped on it over time. i got it working for about a month and it died on me, i really want to buy another one

Hola...👋. Hace más de 10 años que tuve ese Yamaha pss270. Logré conseguirlo prestado para grabar los sonidos y demostraciones , lo unico que no conseguí grabar los acordes mayor, menores y séptima del fingerchord.
Mi idea es poder recrear los sonidos en kontakt y poder usar el fingerchord también en kontak

Each of these instruments have their own little sound and character. Their worth depends on how much you like it!
$100 is a pretty common price for one that is clean and well preserved.
