Hijacked VW Polo chased at highspeed with Audi RS3 Avenger and VW Amarok 2.0 Baby Beast. Run but we will get you.

Any private person (not law enforcement official) in South Africa may arrest someone for “any collaborating, enticing to commit a crime” [2|3|5], such as within the list schedule 1 offences as per the Criminal Procedure Act of 1977 , Law 51 [2|3], and Criminal law amendment of 2007, section 3 and 4.
42 Arrest by private person without warrant
(1) Any private person may without warrant arrest any person-
(a) who commits or attempts to commit in his presence or whom he reasonably suspects of having committed an offence referred to in Schedule 1;
(b) whom he reasonably believes to have committed any offence and to be escaping from and to be freshly pursued by a person whom such private person reasonably believes to have authority to arrest that person for that offence;
(c) whom he is by any law authorized to arrest without warrant in respect of any offence specified in that law;
(d) whom he sees engaged in an affray.
(2) Any private person who may without warrant arrest any person under subsection (1) (a) may forthwith pursue that person, and any other private person to whom the purpose of the pursuit has been made known, may join and assist
therein.
(3) The owner, lawful occupier or person in charge of property on or in respect of which any person is found committing any offence, and any person authorized thereto by such owner, occupier or person in charge, may without warrant arrest the person so found.
Manner and effect of arrest
Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977 Arrest - Art 39
(1) An arrest shall be effected with or without a warrant and, unless the person to be arrested submits to custody, by actually touching his body or, if the circumstances so require, by forcibly confining his body.
(2) The person effecting an arrest shall, at the time of effecting the arrest or immediately after effecting the arrest, inform the arrested person of the cause of the arrest or, in the case of an arrest effected by virtue of a warrant, upon demand of the person arrested hand him a copy of the warrant.
(3) The effect of an arrest shall be that the person arrested shall be in lawful custody and that he shall be detained in custody until he is lawfully discharged or released from custody.

Anton had a GTI 7 that had a GPS Km/h reading built into the dashcam easily clocking 260km/h while playing Hillsong.. I suppose for legal issues, it was best it's not displayed. Just like the fuel management system they use cannot be public knowledge for the sake of having the upper hand in a car chase...

They have no idea of what lane discipline is and think that a stop sign means you can do a creeping stop and they have priority. And the one thing that boils my blood more than anything is not using an indicator.

@@AntonKoen Audi has a feature that will solve your fuel issues. Just turn off sport mode and drive in economy mode when performing a chase.

Too many vehicles being stolen and hijacked in Gezina, Pretoria-North, Pretoria Gardens and surrounding areas and most of them are found in Mamelodi, Soshanguve and Atteridgeville just to name a few. For the rest of the cars not found, they simply vanish into thin air.
We need more NoJack and Snipr support closer to CBD because the Police and Metro are next to useless.

Whilst I can appreciate the speeds and agility of this GTi, I must commend the Amarok driver.. that's a double cab! With a canopy! And he still made it to take down before the driver got out.. Impressive!

I have to acknolodge your driving skills. Obviously have a lot fo practice at high speed driving. You manage your momentum, no over breaking and if you see a hole, you shoot it. Great job!

What kind of a car where you using on this chase? I am used to the Golf 7 GTi sound. But this one i have failed to recognize it.
3 points.
- Gotta give the Amarok it’s flowers. 4Motion gives a handling upper hand compared to other pickup’s.
- 😅Anton, why did you cut out the part of the Quantum and Venture driving side by side blocking the road from the front angle video. Those guys were being suspicious🤔
- This RS3’s speed 😮puts into perspective the danger of it being used by suspects as the getaway car and having to chase it. That would suck for everyone including flying squad.
I did notice it appeared the same chase from front view changed to rear view. eg 5:07 and 9:00. Still fun to watch.
