      This place is in Kundapur Talluk which is a completely Kannada speaking area. We can relate the culture, food habit, geography of this place to Tulu|Mangalore. But, people of this place speak Kannada with lot of old Kannada (Hale Kannada) words.
      If you are travelling towards North from Udupi, Tulu ends 6,7 Kilometer from Udupi town or till Uppoor/K G Road. Kannada will start from Brahmavara. (We can see this unique mix of Kannaada/Tulu culture till Murudeshwara, Bhatkal in North , Hosa Nagar in East, Brahmavara in South)
      Even in Udupi district, Brahmavara, Hebri, Kundapur, Byndoor talluks are Kannada speaking talluks. In terms of area, Kannada dominates as it is spoken in 4 talluks. Even interms of population, Kannaada is the language spoken by 50% or just above 50% in Udupi District. Kapu, Udupi, Karkala talluks are Tulu speaking talluks. Kannada is the language spoken by majority population in Udupi district but still you can see the influence of Tulu/Mangalore culture in entire Udupi District.

      @RS-Wond3r3r 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@vivekupadhyaya6452 ooh common.. First look at the history and then relate "Kannada" language to the coastal region.. Do you even know how the word 'tulu' arrived, it's from the 'Tuluvershwara temple' near Basrur(Now in Kannada speaking Kundapura region). And most of the oldest tulu scripts were found in "now kannada speaking regions like Bramavara". So, historically the coastal belt Udupi/Mangalore was part of one Kingdom and one culture, hence the region is called Tulunadu.. You can add "Kannada" now when it arrived to the region few centuries ago..

    Really astonishing video..!! A huge Thanks to you as well as to your team which has totally enriched the real beauty of coastal Karnataka, Konkan regions to a supremacy level..!! There the food is totally authentic using natural masala's in almost 99.99% recipes. We rarely find people using Garam Masalas & ready made masala's unlike we at North India. Mostly 99.99% people use coconut oil for cooking, which is in fact healthier oil & most of the people who live here are more healthier than any. Thankyou so much once again for cherish our day.!! Keep it up Harishji...!!

    Clay roof tile factory was introduced initially by British/Portuguese/german 200 years(yet to be verified) back for both export and local use in Mangalore and Udupi region. Before the 1990s there were lots of tile factories, at least one each in every large town, now there are less than a dozen in the entire Udupi Mangalore region. The "Mangalore tile" is displayed in one of the British museums!

    Marvante is my native village. Spent a lot of summer vacations in Marvante. you missed going to the Varaha temple also called Maraswamy temple. . it is close to the bridge you pointed out @ 11:50 that bridge connects Marvante to Padukone. Padukone is the native village of Prakash Padukone and Deepika Padukone. The temple is right where the bridge starts. it is believed that when you offer the Mangalaarti to this lord the fall of flowers from the lords head is an indication of your wishes coming true. it did happen with one of my relative. he stood there when the Aarti was being offered and the flowers did not fall, the pandit told him to make an oath that once things settle down he will come with his family to offer an Aarti. The relative pledged as told adn the next minute flowers fell from the lords head. the relative also fulfilled his oath an year later.
    By the way perfect droning @ 11:15. it does justice to the beautiful landscape.

    Harishji, your drone is weaving magic to this area. The drone shots have been beautifully captured and offers magnificent views.
    The clay tiles are an inherent part of the Southern part of India. Tiles are a natural coolant and keeps the heat away from houses.
    The Kamat community are renowned for their food. Their restaurants are a hit wherever they are and serve great vegetarian food.
    The stone barricade on Trasi beach is to arrest the high tides and also serve as a nesting ground for Turtles and other creatures. As most of the beaches have concrete structures and visited by humans, the turtles so not come anymore for hatching, which is a pity

    Dear Harish Bali: Since in many of your travels you visit temples, it is pragmatic not to eat Non-Vegetarian food and eat only Swatik food (Vegetarian food) so that it aligns with the values of your travel and the locations you visit so that it uplifts mood of the viewers.......Houston, Texas. I am his subscriber but I came back after a long time. I really feel this channel is very informative and detail like explaining culture , history and most importantly he gives a decent affordable family accommodation details along with veg/non veg local cuisine availability details in that area . All other channels just worry about views .
    So his vlog is really becomes useful in planning a visit.

    *Humne 2 saal pehle ek vlogging channel start kia tha, Pata nahi kyu ladies vlogging kare to log achcha nahi maante, support nahi karte... Hamare sath bhi yahi hua jab humne vlogging chalu ki hamare husband ne strictly mana kar dia.. but kyuki hame bachpan se photography and videography ka bohot shauk tha, humne mana karne ke bawajood bhi inse chhup kar vlogging ki bachcho ne hume support kia... Shuru me kaafi dikkat hui.. but hamara interest dekh kar inhone ne bhi finally haan kar dia...magar rishtedaar abhi bhi galat hi smjhte hain. hum utne bade vlogger to nahi ban paaye magar fir bhi vlogging karte rehte hai bhale hi views naa ke barabar milte hain... logo ko batana chahte hai ladies bhi Vlogging kar skti hain or karna bhi chahie... All the best aap ko...* h
