Terrific Jo, I love your version - great job :-)
Jo, you and the band are sounding amazing! And Stevie Watts sure is a "Happy Chappy"... :-)
love this blues chick
REAL NICE JO !!!
its in my coutry
Fantastic Track Jo love the arrangement, who did the Original ?
Pharrel Williams? classic...but everything this girl does is "orginal" sounding.
Great band, nice music, nice sound, but why is the meaning of this song totally forgotten? Happiness. Positivity! The most underestimated emotions in music, as the serious faces in this clip show. Don't be afraid to spread happiness and trully get deep into the meaning of a song. Yes, especially if it's a happy song!
They had 3 hours sleep the night before perhaps?
bigiamrecords Oh, lol! It's a deliberate choice. Early in the morning. That blues vibe. It's in the arrangement, while even adding some Bill Withers "Use Me". I may sound critical/negative/etc, but this really feels totally out of place to me. Why not just let go of the "we play this bluesy style of music usually" and listen to the lyrics in true depth. It al starts with a smile while out "Clap along if you know what happiness is to you".The band is great, plays awesome, sounds great, Jo sings well. But, it's one step further to truly feel this song, instead of stepping the bluesy comfort zone. People should listen more to CHIC!
Does not sounds out of place to me... it is awesome...
@@AmazonPhysiques maybe she's singing 'Happy' in an ironic way.....finding a new meaning in the lyric, perhaps?
Whats a good singer without great backing musicians ...
So the underground hype is true! This is very good.
