Sandvik who made the oil stone is still around they make tooling for machinists, Sandvik Coromant is a subsidiary of Sandvik and have been around since the early 40's 😁
Baz there is a slight adjustment to headlight- it’s a single bolt behind in a slotted groove. Allows up and down 3/4 in travel. Also some movement in headlights cover to try get it all flush. You can get a bit out of the 4 bolts on rectangular mount on top too. Watch you fingers dad- broke one horribly on the mech testing modules.
Yes I found the adjusters but I think my dad was thinking you could adjust it so it didn't flip up and down but it doesn't work like that does it.. Just the aim and adjustment to make the pop up flush with the fairing?
HARRIS pipe proper noise maker 😎😎 i'd be very tempted to prep it and spray matt black, which was an option from HARRIS . Also got a spare airbox 🤣🤣 You 2 work so well together 🤣 Cracking tune at the end 😎😎
Hey baz- pressure switch way better than clunky mechanical switch. Running them both ends. Electronic flashers are cool (USA made) 10 flash options. Exports version has rear 18inch rear. 17 JDM . Standard chain 530 114 links and 14/45. I’m running 43T rear for longer legs on a 18inch wheel. Should have went 41Tooth. Tough gearbox but would love a 6th gear. Should run about 4000rpm 100kmh. Depends on main drive gearing. Did u up jet main jet carbs for pipe - and bugger pilot for pods? Cheers Shane - ps remember little tube over clutch slave pin.
As soon as it's road worthy I'm definitely going to consider a few modifications to bring the technology up to date Shane but for now I'm going to be the tightest human in the world so as to keep the spending as low as I can. I won't forget the tube. 😉 Thanks again boss.
Hi Baz, brilliant video as always. I've got a rear tyre if you're interested and it's a Avon road rider 150/70v18 it might be too wide but it's yours if you want it
Where is Dad's lab coat!? Can't use the front sprocket from the parts bike? I'm still 12 too!! Original is good, but use the best available for longevity...
great footage for those that are learning you and your father make a great team looking forward to finally seeing on the road
Get the donor bike running as well...twice the fun😂

It will be back on the road very soon. 😬
You bloody plonka made me laugh with the rear brake calliper
I do the dumbest things sometimes. 😂😂
@@SpecialisedMotorcycleTransportYeah you should've got a Honda. 😂
If mot fails because you can retract headlight- just pull the plug to the module and wind it up manually. Light circuit should still work.

You'll have done a Katana when you finish Rouries, next time you do a how many bikes can be started pick one to rebuild and do a series on it.

The lyrics are hilarious. 😂
Dad's a legend
He is. 😁
Great vid, daft question but is the front sprocket on the donor bike a 525, as it would match the rear sprocket?
