So true, I went to watch mixnine just because of this and then I was so angry at the others looking down at them for their fashion and living in the mountains. Down the line MONT has been touring the world before their debut and I don’t even hear of those sarcastic boys who were making fun of them.

It was so nice to see a group not caught up in the Urban mindset, kids who have an earnest desire to perform and beyond that learn and expand what they know. You can also tell just how much time they put into practicing what they had learned to the point where you have three boys with something akin to a basic expertise. They earned a fan immediately, I'm just hoping they don't lose sight of the mindset they built there in the agency in the middle of nature. I also hope they get big and give so much back to their CEO, she seems like an absolutely lovely woman. Amongst so many companies striving for the heavens, it's cool to think that one day these boys will be veterans teaching rookies how to meditate, take their time, eat healthy yet full meals and most of all work hard for their goals with a mother of a CEO looking out for their best interests rather than the profit. MON-T fighting! FM fighting!
I'm sincerely hoping that they'll gain popularity so that this new way of training your idols and treating them will become the new norm. MONT love their CEO/Manager so much that they even wrote a happy birthday song for her! They're not scared of their staff. And they'll listen. They just have to ask once, calmly, and they'll listen. You don't need to rule with an iron fist in order to get your artists to listen to you-

Please please please please check out Vromance's too. Their audition didn't get aired but it was amazing. Unfortunately only 2 members passed and they didn't even get much screentime afterwards. They deserve a lot more attention than they have got now.

6 years have past since the legendary mixnine happened. even underrated it was still the best survival show with sm talented trainees/idols in it. MONT was one of my main picks esp narachan im happy to have stumbled in this video again after such a long time. bitsaeon the main vocal is actually in an mnet vocal show called build up. might wanna check it and support him! 🤗💗

Compare the boys he's chosen to the girls and you'll see what I mean. For girl groups visual is still an important factor for him, whereas, for guys he really doesn't care. And I wasn't just about the girl groups in this show, he still cared about visual when it came to his own girl group.
I really liked how they were training in the mountains lol. I know it's partly because their agency is broke, but honestly, isn't this kind of environment better? Watching shows like Produce or MixNine and seeing how trainees are forced to their physical and mental limits, you can see that you don't always get the best results from making trainees miserable. I'll keep an eye out for them! I've been seeing their name pop up a lot lately, so I hope they do well!
I'm not the biggest fan of these types of programs..somewhat because it hurts to get attached to people and to not see them win but I came across them and OMFG. I can't possibly ignore them ughhh they are so good!! I love that they seem so pure and they're voices are so stable. I'm now going to stan. I hope they succeed in this program, but even if they don't i'm gonna keep supporting them

True. They get training mostly in rapping and singing, but Hyunwoo has prior experience because he debuted in a different idol group in 2015. Which is probably why he's a bit more fluid with his moves ^^
This rarely happens but, I'M REALLY THANKFUL YG SAW THEIR POTENTIAL AND PICKED ALL THREE OF THEM. Plus I love how they are being trained in a good environment, also their CEO is ultra nice. I kinda felt sad how the other trainees said they didn't expected from them.
