Honestly, buffs of this nature have been defining of 2024. I know a lot of people have had some ire for lasengle since they took dws place, but I feel like their impact on the game has been greatly positive both for gameplay design and for new player friendliness. Game features like append swapping, the evocation shop, constant ui improvements, servant coins being made more plentiful and etc. give me more hope than ever for the game’s future.
Well I think some ire is deserved with their 2 major stumbles this year. Being the recent missions bug and the original plan for the new appends (no extra coins or append swapping). It is a good thing they corrected the coins but it is irksome they didn't foresee the backlash.
Honestly she's one of my favorite servants that i haven't played in years because she was so outclassed. I'm happy to see this buff because its pretty amazing for her
That's an absolutely insane uptime. I don't have any other source of partywide buff removal resist since all of them are limited 5*s but now I'll FINALLY have an answer to aoe buff removal. On top of partywide buff removal resist he also stands out from other taunt walls as a taunt wall whose taunt can't be removed, which absolutely would have been relevant in some of my CQ clears on NA just this year. I'm really happy with this buff. Also I guess if they were going to put out such a strong partywide buff removal resist they could only put it on a taunt wall to limit the synergy with castoria lol

Okay yeah he is easily the best buff removal resistance support. No one comes close. Giving the team an arts up as well is huge and pairs well with Castoria. Massive W for D'Eon

I needed the RMP and at the time it was the only way, The game immediately trolled me and I didn't need to burn either of them...And to this day neither have ever come back... that Zerkerlot interlude still haunts me... I burn Assofholes every time he comes I think I am at 3.....He just brings bad luck to my account if I keep him.

All d'Eon needed was some genuine party utility to be worth the deployment cost, really. This is much better than what I was imagining, I thought maybe they'd make d'Eon's second skill targetable like they did with Ibaraki.
This reminded me of Taisui. He's my only servant with buff removal res. It was really helpful during one of these LBs (I can't remember which one): LB 5, 5.5, or 6 3 turn is pretty neat!

Idk why youtube recommended me this video, i didn't even play FGO or know anything about it. Well maybe the 1 hour of cool animation and special effect of their special moves is enough for me to get recommendation of D'eon buffed or something.
He is now definitely a valid alternative to Georgios or Leonidas. That 3 turn buff removal resist would probably helped many players against the Morgan recollection quest since that last break bar becomes really tricky if you can't burst it down in one turn...
My thinking is... for buff resist removal, when you need it you need it, and it's really annoying when you don't, and it's not just 3 turns but short cooldown, so yea, B+, maybe A, easy!
When I saw a Deon buff I thought they had fixed his np. I actually forgot they "buffed" his np so the debuffs had an acceptable uptime. The buff seems great, a tank with utility is awesome, but I still think his np is barely at the starting line so I'm not gonna try Deon everywhere anytime soon.
My first guaranteed 4 star. I didn't know what to do with him at first but I maxed and grailed him just because he was my first 4 star. Necromancy taunt was my best combo for him. Now he can buff the team with these goodies.
Would this make a true immortal team with Castoria and Tamamo? Absolute defense, CD reduction spams, buff remove resist make them literally untouchable. The only way to kill them is either absolute defense pierce or insta-kill. Would be very interesting to take them for a spin
i'm really happy for this buff since i really love d'Eon's character lots, but their use cases aren't that favourable. this changes a lot for the better! 🙏 and well, this is just a smaller detail, but the game actively refers to d'Eon with 'they/them' due to their character and story being very much in the non-binary spectrum.
Very nice. This makes him a niche pick for a lot of fights. Also, he can cycle himself out with his own taunt so he can easily slide into any setup with some sort of buff CE. Very cool. The only thing that irks me a little with this is that it had to be arts up. Why does every support need to give arts up specifically? Why not quick up? Or a full rainbow.
@rdwn1999 sorry, but I want her to be as strong as amatarasu in her gameplay. 9 buffs for all her tails, 1 buff for the skils, and the 3 left will make her NP all of castoria's kit in one button.

Pair them with Best Wife Fox Girl to have an almost permanent buff removal resist.

That buff removal resistance would have been godly during the lost belt challenge quests we had to go through.
I got D'eon as my starter 4*, so I rerolled for Hercules. In response I have been spooked so many times D'eon is NP11.

D'eon is my accounts first 4 star, that guarantee sr from first summon. Haven't use since reaching bond 10 maybe i'll grail bond now.
After playing for almost 5 years I got my first D'Eon 2 days ago. It was a sign.
He also comes with a three-turn taunt, so he should be easy to get rid of once he has done his job as well. Actually an excellent buff.
