When you divide a number by zero, you're essentially trying to find how many times zero fits into that number, which doesn't make sense because you can't evenly divide any non-zero number by zero. So, it's mathematically prohibited to have a denominator of zero in a fraction.

I wanted to answer your question, You asked why 0 can't be a denominator,
Ans: 0 can't be a denominator because, when we write the numbers in P/Q form, it represents that we are divining the numbers. And when we divide a number by 0 the result will be 0 only. Hence we put 1 instead of 0 because 1 divided by any number is equals to the number itself.

The reason that the result of a division by zero is undefined is the fact that any attempt at a definition leads to a contradiction. a=r*b. r*0=a. (1) But r*0=0 for all numbers r, and so unless a=0 there is no solution of equation (1).

This is the reason why i love pw over byjus bcuz pw try to make us understand the topic rather than taking notes but in byjus in every 10 mins sir/mam would say "take notes kids" thats very irritating bcuz at one time we can only focus on taking notes or understanding the topic.
