I lived in s Africa past few years and was able to find Shea butter from several sources. Stay natural my friend, u r using alot of products with too many chemicals, Shea would cost less and be way more healthy absorbed into your skin which is your biggest organ! You will be able to shower in the hospital. Daily or twice if you like. But the morning shower will definitely be encouraged. They will want you to move as much as possible no matter your birthing method. I've birthed both ways & there were no restrictions on having a proper shower. I had a shower 30 minutes after birth. And twice daily after that.

You are right, once the baby comes you won't have the time for self-care. But, you probably shouldn't have had braids done because you might pull them out during labor. I know I pulled a lot of hair especially during my second delivery. However, I wish you a very safe delivery.

the liquid gold are for increasing milk supply they work better when breastfeeding you will have alot of milk and a happy fully feed baby and for the adds you might need an extra fridge
Mama you will be able to shower as soon as you feel ready to. Even with a CS by the next day you will be able to shower vizuri ( no scrubbing the scar area) but shower and walking around ni must. With a VB you can shower immediately you get some energy in. Safe delivery Maggie. May God guide you through this journey.

Well...post motherhood comes different to everyone..I have 3 kids and both my pregnancy,I shower after birth...only 3 days are sponge bath...I equally heal easily and have sex after 3 weeks marshallah....every woman is different...just wait for your time darling, wait for the right time everything will come through OK....as well don't let people advice on your parenting...you will have many doctors too...be your own advisor and ask professionals....wishing you a safe journey till the end...May God confirm your prayers and bless your house that you will see his grace in whatever you do
For vaginal delivery you will be able to shower well (if you have someone to watch the baby in your room coz you can be super paranoid the first few days about leaving baby) for CS you won't be able to shower 🥺

You can still shower mwanzo a shower after birth is one of the best things. You feel so much better and fresh unless you have a cs then you will bathe later I think.

Yes you can shower after giving birth they perfer you not take a bath 🛀 and that's for purpose of preventing infection. Etc.
Though for cs mom it's close to impossible to get a nice shower

I always shower in the hospital. 4 kids. Maybe it depends with the hospital and the type of birth. But with natural births, you can shower.
