Went to the screening and Q&A with the tour guide from the documentary today, very informative and interesting. When the director talked about descendents of Hakka heritage in the US who were actually more interested in watching this video than their parents, I really felt he was talking about me. One of the reasons I moved back to Taiwan was to get more in touch with my heritage and to get to know my Hakka and Haklo extended family better, so to be able to watch this (especially in English, thank God 😂) was such an honor and pleasure, thank you!
