the intro to this gave me so much more confidence that im not crazy - fixing my own piano, i could swear that i regulated things as perfectly as i can measure and yet when i go back to check over the whole thing, its still off. a cycle indeed!
At 6:28 the jack only gets back under after the hammer goes fully back to its rest. True, it’s not misfiring, seems the lever is maybe supported by the extra cushion under the lever on this design. This cushion/pedestal is not labeled in diagrams I find and is not on all designs.

I’d add that the hammer must be off the rest rail. (#4) Good job!
Came here to see the repetition lever regulation. Even with fancy new systems is messy to regulate. Good video though.
