Aaliyah was just so amazing, like is an icon. My favorite song on her self titled album is More Than A Woman. I wasn’t born when her self titled got released back in 2001. I was born 2 years later after her self titled got released. I loved the album, Aaliyah and everyone did an amazing job on her self titled album. Aaliyah, keep resting in peace, we miss you.
I have the original one I think I was like in middle school when it came out she's my favorite artist still jam to her songs almost everyday lol my favorite song is all of them bt I seem to find myself playing extra smooth and most of all I care for you more than the songs everyone heard on the radio like more than a woman and rock the boat and we need a resolution
Listening to her as an adult I can her her strong tones when she sings low or alto if you will especially on read between the lines and I can be. I didn't realize how young she was when she passed. Love your content. You are definitely a fan! Lol
I was 12 when this came out and I still have the old busted original cd in the broken case 🤣😂. I also have the original vinyl. I think It’s Whatever would win a poll as favorite song. But this album was special. Very ahead of it’s time sonically and very well rounded.
Top 10 R&B album(11 or 12 on my list). I bought this on cassette tape the day before she passed❤🕊 It took years for me to get the CD. One in a Million CD was the same also(hard to find...I know the story)

I’m glad to be an owner yet again of this great album. I love you and miss you baby girl. AALIYAH
I wish Messed Up had a video...I loved it...so badass.
I Can be and What If would've catapulted Aaliyah to a different level....songs are so dark with attitude.

The red album represents, in my opinion … sensuality, independence, and women's empowerment.
U Got Nerve gives me a Michael Jackson vibe
It’s whatever is a song that gets me. It’s sensual and very sexual love it. I just listened to it a few days ago as I listened to the whole album.
