Citizens of the Udmurt Republic first took part in the torch relay 30 years ago and continue to meet the torch of friendship with an open heart nowadays.
"Garden of Harmony" was created on the initiative of the organizers of the "World Harmony Run" with the support of the Center of Russian Culture "Russian House" with the aim to expand the unity between the peoples of the world. The development of friendly ties makes countries stronger externally and internally, unites people in the pursuit of peaceful coexistence.
The compositional center and dominant feature of the Garden of Harmony is the bronze statue "Dreamer of Peace", depicting a man carrying a torch of peace and harmony in his hands. The sculpture symbolizes the unity between the peoples of the world and the friendship between India, Bangladesh and Russia.
