Well some comics were released in 1976 while the movie was released in 1977 So these writers and artists had no idea what the film looked liked But they had the original scripts and notes for the movie and so this was what we got
Lot look like Valerian Comic Start 1967 and lot Borrow from that comic are really good stories in Valerian and Laureline Comics Rrsly great Scifi 1967-2010 done those and few after that also
