I think with Mark knowing all this information it's implied that he and Petey have already done all the things Helly is now trying, that's why he not only knows they won't work but also what the punishments would be when caught. Petey told his outie that they've tried to resign multiple times. Mark said that on his first day he told Petey he would find him and kill him, he must have been just as rebellious as Helly, but they've spent a few years breaking him in at this point.
pretty sure the lightbulb was mentioned to give us exposition that the boss lady comes over to his house ( to check on him ) very often that she comments on something like a lightbulb being broken. ( and that his grief is so bad that he kinda lost control of those things )
Their Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul reactions remain the best ones on the entire platform. They were attentive, emotionally engaged, funny, and analysed things well. Of course they didn't catch everything (like most folks when watching the show for the first time), but they really got the VAST majority of the character drama and themes.
@@darkblack777they've repeatedly said that they stopped reading comments for the most part cuz a number of BrBa fans were being awful. Plus: just because someone is able to predict some things, or figure out character motivations etc... Doesn't mean that they're reading spoilers or whatever. I was able to fully understand character moments and predict a number of upcoming plot things because i paid attention to the show, and i followed the trail of breadcrumbs being left by the creators. @@SidPhoenix2211wow breaking bad fans being awful what a shocker. I remember when every breaking bad fan was so pissed that skyler would dare go against her husband as if its irrational to not want a druglord as a husband. Its a solid show but also the most overrated show ive ever seen. People will suck this show dry on all fours, tears running down their face. Like damn it ain’t THAT great
Four tempers Woe: deep suffering from misfortune, affliction, or grief Frolic: to play around, cheerful and carefree Dread: great apprehension, anxiety, or fear Malice: the intention do evil or harm to someone They essentially view fear anger and sadness as fundamental traits of human psychology along with carefree joy, and that all four need to be "in balance". That's really weird considering that a healthy person in a healthy situation should not be angry, afraid, or sad very often, these emotions are signs of something going wrong. And carefree joy is never really a bad thing, even if it's not possible to experience 24/7. It is a highly puritanical view of the human soul, *ideally* 3/4ths suffering and no more than 1/4th happiness.
Balance doesn't necessarily mean equality. It just means equilibrium. Ecosystems are kept in balance, but that doesn't mean there's an equal amount of predators to prey. I do understand what you're saying, but to play devil's advocate, a healthy person _should_ feel anger, sadness, and fear. We have these emotions for a reason and when felt in moderation (or, said another way, balance) they are healthy. I don't think a life of _only_ "frolic" would be ideal. Even setting aside the practical need for negative emotions to regulate social behavior (how would a human be able to live with others if the only emotion they could feel is happiness?), a life entirely devoid of negativity wouldn't be fulfilling. We need some sort of struggle, goals, things to strive for, and "carefree joy" can't provide that. I think someone with only frolic would slowly lose their mind.
