    There’s a new clear light cure acrylic materials that we can add over the hard soft thermo vac splint materials. I’m wondering if you have tried it and which one do you think works better.

    What do you add to the monomer to make it purple and where do you get your dispensing bottles?

    • @SzaraDentalLab
      @SzaraDentalLab  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Purple monomer in concentrate from Great Lakes orthodontics

    Dear zara.. whats the difference between fabricating an occlusal splint handcrafted with the one using a durasoft laminate? Any explanation? Thank you in advance ❤

    • @SzaraDentalLab
      @SzaraDentalLab  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The handcrafted is a hard splint acrylic for grinders. Especially at nighttime. The Durasoft has a soft layer touching teeth for maximum comfort. Lets say you havent worn it for a week or two You can also put it in warm water and it will readjust itself when put back on mouth. A traditional hard night guard splint will be extremely tight

    Hi, thanks for the info. A question: I have no experience at this but am trying to learn to make these for myself. It looks like you put on multiple layers of acrylic. What is the clear liquid that you add in between layers - is that just water or is it something else? Thank you very much.
