I don’t think I have a preference. Most dual paddle ops key as a single paddle a lot of the time. Not many use full Iambic keying. So, as I fit into that category, I have none.
Hi. Thanks for the question. I have the simplex mono too and have owned / operated single paddle keys. From my own perspective, I prefer the single paddle. Simply because it’s a different type of key to a twin paddle ‘mono’ key. It’s easier for me to operate an HST or Sculpture mono due to it being a thin single paddle. For the simplex mono, with the twin paddles, I want to use it like a twin paddle key so there is a little confusion to begin with. I hope this helps. 73’ Pete G0PNM
Hello Forgive me and apologize because I saw a video of you with a fearless begali. Well, I'm writing to you because maybe you know, I bought an INTREPID BEGALI a month ago in September 2020 and even though I tried to put a cable in it, it didn't work, . I contacted them and they sent me a picture but I don't understand. Would you know how to tell me what kind of cable it is and how to make possible the functionality in the INTREPID BEGALI? TKS 73
Nicely done. However, that finger piece looks a tad tall. I observed your sending and the fingers tend to be low on the finger piece. You know the reason for it being that tall? Looks like the tail of a plane hi.. Can the finger piece be reversed? Fernando N2FQ/6
Fernando N6TT did exactly that with his Sculpture Mono. Although it looks like performing such a switch is a labor intensive task requiring considerable disassembly of the key. It alap detracts from the aestetics of the key
Fantastic review one more time... this mono paddle is on top of my shopping list ;-)
Lovely key! What a work of art! Thanks for the video, Pete!
This has been a great series of videos.
Wich key Art to you prefer ? Paddle? Single lever? Thx

@@PeteSobye thx
Which would u get if price wasn't an issue? HST or Sculpture mono? You sent a lot faster with the HST.
Oooh good question. If money wasn’t an issue, I’d have both. 😉
Pete, how would you compare the Sculpture Mono to the Simplex Mono (which I have) from a "feel" perspective?
