The elevator scene was soo damn hilarious & cute at the same time. But I think it will be funnier as both of these men have a fun sided personality unlike Derek & Finn who were a bit mature & serious.

Absolutely not I do not see Derek in every single person Meredith associated with. I gotta say... wasn't expecting it but I REALLY like Deluca and the thought of him with Mer now. I've stopped shipping them as much over the years. I still love them, but I also realize Meredith held herself back in a lot of ways while with him. They had their good moments and a lot of toxic ones as well. It wasn't always a relationship of equals, and Derek jerked her around in those first couple of seasons.

DeLuca I know is the better choice. He understands the messy dad situation (check the scene of him and Carina in the hallway talking) , he has a sister, he's matured as a doctor and a person over the seasons.He knows what she's been through. And he is good with kids. Plus the way he looks at Meredith is the exact way my Dad still looks at my Mom after 38 years of marriage. Dr. Link reminds me of how completely cocky Derek was in season 1 when he pursued Meredith with little hints of Mark Sloan in the Slexie relationship.

I realized over the years I idolized and idealized MerDer when I shouldn't have. To be truthful, it wasn't a good relationship at all. There were very few seasons where they were on good terms throughout the entirety of the season. It didn't start as a relationship between equals either, and Derek was often an ass. He didn't always treat her with respect and judged her because she didn't see the world in black and white like him. During a lot of their relationship, it was about his career, not hers. Meredith has her faults too as she had commitment issues and made a lot of bad judgment calls. Meredith needs someone less restrictive and who she can have fun with. Maybe it will be one of them, I don't know, but that's for her to figure out.
I don't feel the whole De Luca and Mer thing 😂😂 he is way to young for her and I just think Link is the exact opposite of Mer it'll be great to see things develop

Wasn't DeLuca an EMT before he was an intern? Thats why everyone thought he was a doctor on his first shift. So I always assumed he was a bit older and had a bit more life experience, plus he seems pretty close to in age to his sister. I personally always thought the intern from last year seemed too young for him. But i do think the kid thing is an issue. That's a lot for anyone to take on. Had not totally clueless to it though. He lived with Arizona and Sophia last year and Sophia is the same age as Zola.

It's probably just me but I can't imagine Meredith with anyone else other than Derek. It was pretty obvious that Derek and Meredith were soulmates. I wasn’t a huge fan of the early seasons. Meredith seemed really flighty and annoying with all the crap she pulled. There are some great episodes and beloved characters in the first half of Greys but the actors didn’t want to stay so I was okay with them leaving and getting killed off. I was skeptical of the show after Derek’s death but I’ve been loving the mature and well-rounded out character Meredith turned into after Derek died. The new characters have been interesting and have some great character developments. I also loved the character development of Alex and his friendship with Meredith, I think it was even better than the whole Cristina and Meredith dynamic. I love Cristina and their friendship but that ended and they moved on, so should the fans.

Yes, Link is hot, BUT, I think he feels like she is a conquest, and she senses that, and she has every right to be wary of it.

I realized over the years I idolized and idealized MerDer when I shouldn't have. To be truthful, it wasn't a good relationship at all. There were very few seasons where they were on good terms throughout the entirety of the season. It didn't start as a relationship between equals either, and Derek was often an ass. He didn't always treat her with respect and judged her because she didn't see the world in black and white like him. During a lot of their relationship, it was about his career, not hers. Meredith has her faults too as she had commitment issues and made a lot of bad judgment calls. Meredith needs someone less restrictive and who she can have fun with. Maybe it will be one of them, I don't know, but that's for her to figure out.
I don't feel the whole De Luca and Mer thing 😂😂 he is way to young for her and I just think Link is the exact opposite of Mer it'll be great to see things develop

Never mind all of that tho! He should be off limits because he slept with Mer’s sister! Girl code and sister code!
Meredith is old enough to decide for herself and she deserves all of that. She deserves all of what life has to offer - and DeLuca does know that. I wouldn’t touch Link with a 20 foot pole - just a little too ugh for me.

Wasn't DeLuca an EMT before he was an intern? Thats why everyone thought he was a doctor on his first shift. So I always assumed he was a bit older and had a bit more life experience, plus he seems pretty close to in age to his sister. I personally always thought the intern from last year seemed too young for him. But i do think the kid thing is an issue. That's a lot for anyone to take on. Had not totally clueless to it though. He lived with Arizona and Sophia last year and Sophia is the same age as Zola.

Well, DeLuca’s young and still learning. Women fall for men younger than them all the time in today’s society so why not Meredith? The difference with her is that she won’t just fall for any guy unless she sees some merit in them so I think it’s safe to say that she’ll take good care of herself.
Girls and women are flighty when they first start out dating and getting into relationships. Why can’t guys be? Lol. Guys don’t just appear mature and “grown up”, it takes them some time to get there just like it takes women to get to that point as well, as long as they don’t quickly settle down with the first person they date. 😂

It's probably just me but I can't imagine Meredith with anyone else other than Derek. It was pretty obvious that Derek and Meredith were soulmates. I know that Meredith has to move on at some point but it's just so weird to see her with someone else other than Derek Shepherd after 11 seasons of MerDer (the McDreamys).

I wasn’t a huge fan of the early seasons. Meredith seemed really flighty and annoying with all the crap she pulled. There are some great episodes and beloved characters in the first half of Greys but the actors didn’t want to stay so I was okay with them leaving and getting killed off. I was skeptical of the show after Derek’s death but I’ve been loving the mature and well-rounded out character Meredith turned into after Derek died. The new characters have been interesting and have some great character developments. I also loved the character development of Alex and his friendship with Meredith, I think it was even better than the whole Cristina and Meredith dynamic. I love Cristina and their friendship but that ended and they moved on, so should the fans.
@@TM-lp9jv I agree with some of your points, however, with so many characters leaving or just getting killed off, the people you look forward to seeing have disappeared. This caused me to give up on the show but still check once a year if the show got better.
