You can tell if anyone is in the briefcase room if the lights above the entrances are red. If they are green no one is in there.

One exception; if the person in the VIP room is the VIP themselves, the light will remain green! So make sure to keep an eye on the briefcase through the windows as well as the light. Or else the fake VIP might slip through your grip!

NPC's run and can open and close drawers to confuse you.
The amount of NPC characters is breathtaking.

I love running pickpocket on Larcin, stealing from someone and continuing to walk, then seeing them just shoot a random NPC nearby

Pretty confident that if the extraction vehicle gets called without you interacting with a terminal for it it means you're the last one left (judging by the timing of it in this and other vids). If nothing else, may that still your anxiety instead of suspecting people of mimic'ing :P

The game rewards being passive with more xp and higher chance to win so players tend to be more passive then active

She didn't go to camp the extraction point, she tried to EXTRACT at the extraction point, she didn't realize you'd stolen the package yet... she came back the second she realized you stole it from her, lmao. xD
As Larcin, that confusion is what you need to make the most out of as you play him, steal package, invisible, IMMEDIATELY dip out... Just B-line for a different extraction point IMMEDIATELY, of course, outside of LOS from the one you stole it from, you don't want them getting an itchy triggerfinger and hunting you down for shts and giggles. :P
By the time they realize you stole their package, it's already too late for them to recover it... GG's. :3
