Two of my mother’s favorite dishes are beef liver & onions and pan fried chicken hearts & gizzards. I myself have tried deep fried deer heart. In case anyone asks, the whole heart wasn’t fried. It was prepared for consumption, sliced, dredged, then fried. It was pretty tasty.

The armless handyman, the PTSD veteran... frankly, opportunities for an ER doctor to comment on are endless! This whole entire cartoon is "what happens before patients show up at the ER"

I can see the whole: Using another person as a bloodbag in a battlefield if everyone had their blood types on their dogtags.
It's not ideal, but if someone's suffering heavy bleeding and you sealed up the wound, needing a bloodbag immediately, shared bloodtype policy could save a life.
This reminded me of a similar situation on MASH. A wounded soldier was brought in and given a blood transfusion, but he was only getting worse. Turns out, he stole the dogtags off his dead buddy who was about to be sent back home.
@@chatboulon743 I remember there was a petition at a time to have blood bags included in infantry basic medkit packs.For obv reasons wasn't to possible though cant say the same for field medics.
That's something I have never thought about and is actually very intriguing to me. I'm not a donor even if we have the same blood type you dont want mine.
Medics in The 75th ranger regiment did this successfully a couple of years ago while on a mission.
They do have their bloodtype on the tag

Fun Fact 2: Lumpy and Mole are the Characters with the most jobs,but not because they are good, it's because the creators of the Show needs something bad to Happen,so they use them to do the Job in a bad way so something can happen (Since Lumpy is Really Stupid and Mole is Blind),tho when they need a job well done,they use other Characters that can do a Better Job,like Handy (and for being ironic,he doesn't have hands) and Sniffles

I think the woman giving me a blood test when I was young was who gave me my ongoing fear of needles. No nurse has ever made it as bad and yet my fear gets worse every year now to the point I almost pass out after a shot.
She couldn't find my vein apparently, and tried multiple times on both arms. She claims that and yes I'm overweight, but nurses before her could find my veins just fine, so why her out out of everyone couldn't? I simply think she was incompetent.

One of the Christmas episodes involving Lifts and Shifty - I forget the episode names but one of the injuries involves a cookie.
I started whating when i was 5
5:10 gave me flashbacks to the hours before my heart valve surgery. i was taken into emergancy and a couple of student doctors were getting the needle into my vein. The arm they used has a habit of moving the vein around so it took a number of times and a bit of moving in the arm to get it in properly. It hurt a ton and i was lightly crying at the end of it. thankfully it was put in proper.

7:48 I haven't heard of anyone using a spoon, but there was a guy who did get his arm stuck between a boulder and a cliff and did an amputation using a pocket knife. I believe they made a movie from the guys story called 127 hours, if you are unfamiliar with it, Doc.

In one interview the creators said that one of the HTF creators heard this happend in some news so they decided to create their own version...but it was everything years before the movie about which they heard but they made it years before the movie creators finished their movie... 😂

She inserted the needle 3 times in my right arm, then tried it once on my left arm..
And then went to find a pediatrician in the hospital, who found the vein in my right arm in one go

I watched this cartoon years after people were talking about it.
At first I felt sorry for the characters when they get injured and stuff. Later on I realized that's just how their world really is and of course, obviously it's a cartoon and they can respawn just fine anyway.
Now I find the humor in the show and enjoy it for what it is. Plus my favorite character is Lumpy, the blue one.
5:23 Pretty accurate representation of what the nurse who gave me my ongoing uncontrollable fear of needles looks like she was doing. Difference is, she did it with both of my arms. I swear i may have not been long, but getting stabbed and moved around in with a needle feels like forever.
My fear gets worse every year and I don't want to, i do everything to not fear it i know it's ridiculous but even if in my mind I'm not scared, my body reacts like I'm in danger or something. It's gotten so bad I'm starting to almost pass out getting shots or blood work snd I'm worried it's gonna further evolve into full on passing out or vomiting. How do cure something that gets worse the more you try to relax and think of other things? Needles don't even hurt much, but my body's reaction is what makes it a truly horrible experience...

I honestly miss those days. Though I must say, when watching this as an adult now, I wince at it more than when I was a kid. How'd that happen?

When I was 8 me and my bro found this series on TH-cam. We’ve never stopped loving it since, and seeing you react to it is like getting something we didn’t think we needed or deserved lol
I remember when my classmates were all talking about this (we were at that age you feel cool and naughty to watch a violent show) and the thing that shocked them the most wasn't the blood or violence, but the fact that Flaky (the red porcupine) was female, they all thought she was a male😂
I was honestly more surprised to know that all the protagonists have names, usually on this kind of show they name the animals just after the color and/or the species, the shock was given to me from The Mole and the needle scene (I have a phobia of needle) and Petunia's (the blue skunk) obsession for germ and being clean taking her to skin hersel to clean her furr

I might have to agree with the butter thing. “Frying a whole stick of butter is not the healthiest thing to be doing.” Because it might cause breast cancer or a heart disease if you eat too much junk food.

1:12 that is a real thing actually, deep fried butter. It’s a popular carnival dish, typically a dessert type dish. They freeze the butter first, then batter it, and fry it. I’m personally turned off on the concept for it.
