What is the significance of the "tan" notes in bar 19, 23, 26,27, 28?
Thanks for watching! According to Finale, those notes enter the upper part of the trumpet register and should be used sparingly when writing for the trumpet.
Being a professional trumpet player and trumpet teacher, I tend to just ignore Finale's recommendations and do what I know is best ;)
