    Beautiful, great production going on there. I can't find any space for Cucumbers this year. Sometimes us backyard farmers have to make sacrifices. Hey farming ain't easy lol.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge GardenT. Super helpful. Ive grown cucumbers for the 1st time this year. Staked them, they are much happier growing up instead of out! Next year i will figure out the string/trellis plan. This is brilliant.

      @Greentgarden I'm a riding instructor! She was my BFF of 21 years. Lessons are extremely good for people. I hope she likes them and that the program is a good one. Make sure the instructors are positive ones. There's 2 camps of instructors, positive or negitive to abusive. Pull her if when you are watching them something makes your gut feel anything negitive. The negitive instructors usually start out mildly bad but will get worse as time goes on. Positive ones will be encouraging and happy. This is really important because they are teaching problem solving rather than feeding their own ego. Problem solving will keep her safe😉. I'm excited to hear how she does! I love when kids are into horses!!! (Add on: that gut feeling, it counts for any other kids that are in the program also. Watching other kids getting verbally abused will effect all the kids there hearing it. It will make them nervous, that's when people get hurt.)

    Nature is a wonder! I cut the main vein of the cuke plant and thought that was the end. The plant regenerated and is flowering. Ibsee cucumbers in my future😂. This gives a brand new meaning to "grounding" for me 🥳 🥒 🌱

    Nice cukes and so many flowers. We have room for only one cuke plant in a + 20 gallon planter. We may put some seeds in ground a month before peas are done along side of pea plants. Then cut at ground level when plant is exhausted. >>>>>
    Peas variety are a spring/summer --- summer/fall. Green Arrow bush that are climbing trellis. Peas are still small in pods. 95 degree day to 80's to 70. One night got to 56. Zone 6b.

    I am unclear how to identify suckers

    • @Greentgarden
      @Greentgarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So the suckers Are located between the leaf and the main stem is an extra part that looks like a leaf..

    I'm So Jealous!! ❤️🥒 Question.. when pruning ....how to clip the sucker, without clipping the flower when it's all bunched up together. I don't want to clip something that might be a fruit. 🥒❤️🤍💙⚘️🪴

    • @Greentgarden
      @Greentgarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So the suckers are on located on the back off the Cucumbers and flowers... You could always wait a couple days extra and you will see this suckers growing bigger so that way it could be easier to remove... But I normally like to get them early stage. But you're right, you have to look carefully and remove the one in the back... Happy Friday gardening..
      I only remove between 2 to 3 ft of the suckers. I leave the top ones to grow so they can produce more
