Try not to think of your extroverted sensing as underdeveloped. You're clearly well aware of your environment; you wouldn't have such nice flowers and surroundings if you were oblivious. You're consciously engaged in your own verbal thoughts but you're subconsciously taking in all the sensory details of your environment and judging them by subjective criteria of your values, which is why what's stressing you out isn't the messy room; it's the emotional impact that's having on the people you care about. More specifically, you feel the conflict between that and your own pull to continue exploring your thoughts, particularly on trying to make a rational decision on what college to go to. Neglecting something trivial like the temporary state of your room, in order to prioritize thinking through a decision that will shape the next few years of your life, is perfectly rational. Smash out the cleaning, make em happy, then get straight back to your applications without wasting too much time. That's my take as an intj. Ganbatte; you got this Olivia.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment INTJ. I will give what you said some thought! I appreciate how you listened to what I said. Observed different things you could glean from the video. And then provided your insight. Ganbatte to you as well!
