UPS Stores work a little bit different then when you get them delivered to your door. He couldn't refuse, because the UPS Store automatically accepts them for him. Imagine the UPS store having to call every single person up to ask if they actually wanted the package. Nothing would get done.
@@MrCavelord You have 5 business days from when the package was delivered to the UPS store to have it returned to sender at no cost. If you have a UPS account you can also refuse the package before its even delivered and they'll send it right back.
I have had this experience before. Pops being sent before a deal has been made or pops arriving damaged. Most likely it was a kid or teenager. What I would do is just adjust my offer price based on the damage. You will have to pay 10-30% of ppg price depending on the damage and sell them for 10-50% less then ppg, they will sell.
What an awful situation to be put in.... I get there are serious collectors out there, that want near mint boxes, for me personally I don't see the point of buying a pop and leaving it in a box, I like to enjoy my pops in their full glory on a shelf, so the boxes condition wouldn't bother me too much as long as the pop itself is undamaged. Very underrated comment... 🤣
Maybe the seller sneezed a lot because of all that white powder 😂 great video 👍🏼👍🏼
Ugh! What a filthy ambush, literally. What I love about you Clint is your control over anger. I feel like you’re an amazing person!
Hi. I whant to ask you is you sell pop protectors? I have a collection of 16 dragon ball z pops. So yeah i whant to protect them.
Clint you seriously need to start wearing gloves when it comes to things like this, better to err on the side of caution just in case, but thanks always for the honest interesting video.
Can't wait till part two of this... Ill pay shipping for them 😜
He already gave an update at the end
@@MikaylaLuna thanks, commented before I read it
Funko popped that’s for sure! Thanks for sharing and I hope it works out for you. Helping kids is gift that makes you good person!
I would've sent them back and blocked him. That's ridiculous.
I wasn't going to send them back with my money and loser over $200 in shipping. Terrible situation I was put in.
@@FranchiseKicks I can understand that. Sorry you went through this.
Franchise Kicks keeps the ones that are worth the shipping then send all the rest right on back.
Consider that payment for this bs
But if he sent them back he would have to pay the shipping for them and then he wouldn't be making any money he would be losing money I think you should just keep them and not pay for them it's the sellers fault for sending them to plant that before Clint said he would buy them or not
@@fullfiledprophecies I like that idea. The sender definately scammed Clint.
You were incredibly generous, patient and compassionate regarding this stranger's "offering".🤔 The mystery substances alone would have put me off. 😳 Your solution to the overall situation was very kind, but I hope you never have to suffer🤯 this again. 🙏
Best wishes to you and yours from L.A. Stay safe, strong and healthy. 😷💪✌
Instead of cleaning the ones you're going to donate, you could save yourself some time and just take them out of box.
Hi Clint if the boxes are damage what happened to the fungo pop it’s self is there no way to save them or is it the box that makes it worth the money just asking
the box is 50% of the value
You are too nice...I would have told him that as soon as he had enough for shipping you would send it back...and just hold on to them until he paid. but I guess it ended the best you could hope for...he was definitely trying to scam
I would have been tellin him I am sendin them back asap!
Yes I would have sent them back
@@Debbiethediycraftygirl return to sender on his costs!!
@@amarieoflothlorien yup I would of done the same but I think Clint was hoping to get a crazy good deal.. which it came to bite him in the end.
I hate it when people do me like that I just love how you say what you want to say and u r truthful with it all
Only halfway through the video and I'm thinking the guy ate lots of food while snorting cocaine before sending them to you LOL
Clint, do you plan on doing a follow up video of this drama?
I would of RTS or REFUSED never would of opened them
UPS Stores work a little bit different then when you get them delivered to your door.
@@MrCavelord if you don’t open it you can still send it back
@@bobsaget4102 Thank you. Did not know.
And the most expensive pops will sell well, if you sell a $50 pop for $25 with damage tons of folks without the budget will jump on them.
It was from a 70 year old man
@@FranchiseKicks Jokes!!!!!
I bet the “white powder” is from drywall or came off the ceiling or something like that
The look of defeat on your face when you see the tape-wrapped Target exclusive The Shining two pack 😂😂😂😭
I love that you will donate some of them as I'm sure they will bring delight to those who receive one and by selling the rest, I think you will turn this into a win win situation. Very bizarre way to sell your stuff though lol
I’ve been thinking of selling my collection (took really good care of my pops...no food or white powder lol). Can I reach out to you if I decide to go forward with it?
Now that you've experienced that drama, maybe talk to your lawyer about future issues like this. I enjoy watching you unbox Clint, don't let one guy ruin it for us all. 👍
Just Curious Maybe Seal Back up & Put Return to sender like can do with mail that comes to houses Maybe that will keep You from Having to pay to return it????
Omgggggg, clint i watched the entire video and wow....this guy was ballsy saying they are 9 out of 10 condition and opening that...wow as a funko collector that is disgraceful
He was a very dishonest man
I agree, and unfortunately your stuck with them, but love the idea of donating them , you guys in the states have a great program "pops for patients".
I sold clint my collection recently... double boxed all 3 big boxes plus bubble wrapped and all were in protectors.
you know who sent it, and the weight you can find out how much it was to send to you.
very little was as stated. and no price was agreed so you have no legal right to buy or pay as not as discribed
see what return value is and take payment via a pop or 2 that cover your return costs and tell him you could just pay then for any that are sellable
Wow this was the funniest shit ever, it was tony Montana’s collection and that white powder was yayo 😂
I think the guy that sent it, if he doesn’t want to pay for it he should lose out. You didn’t tell him to ship it to you. That is just wrong
People don't take care of their crap these days. It's amazing how poorly they ship things, too.
Contact the local police where this person is from and ask any thefts of Funko's in that area. Because of the email trail was funky and how they were packed. Keep up on the fun content I have been enjoying your channel for awhile. Thank you.
Yeah in the beginning of this video I was thinking with all the e-mails back and forth and stuff maybe they were stolen Funko pops and he was trying to get rid of them real quick that's why he sent them to clint before clint said he would buy them before he got the money he sent them to clint maybe that's why but then again I don't think so now
I have started collecting in May this year and I know to always package with bubble wrap
😂 u played into his hands tbh, thts why he send it like that so u would HAVE to buy em, I would’ve just been like “it’ll sit here till u can pay to get em send back to u, you have video evidence of everything that was In the boxes and written prove you never agreed to getting them
can I ask where you got your deadpool mask? and who made it please ☺
I’d definitely be sending this back, and refuse payment. Because he definitely is a massive scammer. What’s his addy ?? I’ll pull up and fight him for you lol
As someone that periodically sells off parts of their collection, that packing job really hurt just to hear how loose it was.
That collection sucked but at least you got to make this video and I'm sure the children will love the pops you donate ❣
The "white powder" on the boxes is prob fire extinguisher over spray. With the water stains on some and burned tops.... housefire.
Be careful Clint. The guy probably will try to sue you, by saying his collection was in "mint condition" when he sent it to you. I would send it back to him wrapped up in bubble wrap, and tell him good luck in selling his god awful Funko Pop collection.
No matter how many times I watch this video it never gets old for me
Damm man you went through the ringer with this guy
If I had been you I wouldn’t have even been able to post the video from the language I would of used. 😄 Then I would have personally delivered them to the crook. I used to be a very nice person but people have made me not so nice. Bless you Clint.
After the first box I would have sent them back marked return to sender and been done. Absolute garbage
That was painful just watching. Sorry.
Would it be possible in this situation to not accept the shipment and return to sender?
Send them back this guy is on drugs he should of took pics and emailed them first before he shipped them
I was wondering if there is a website to get a value price besides Funko price app ?
That’s a true scam artist. That was garbage. Who sends there collection without a price or anything? I guarantee that’s not his collection
hi you have the same last name as me greetings
@@davidsworld5837 oh really. That’s rare.
I don’t think he a scam artist. He’s just an idiot lol. What if he Clint was someone who just keeps em and gets that all for free lol. How can you scam someone by sending a ton of pops lol
@@vincescarpine sending a ton of fake counterfeit pops. I’ve had it happen. Luckily myself and Clint who sale pops can tell. But if it was just somebody buying them and not knowing they would be scammed. But yea I get what your saying. He is a idiot.
