    What do you think of the Friedman IR-X?

      I just got it. Sounds fantastic and so portable!!! That V30 cab, middle setting, for the win. Bright to left. I’m taking it to Cabo for gigs next week. Easy. Huge win for Friedman.

      It’s a Friedman amp in a smaller box. Heaven! Only wish they were available in my country. Will have to import.

    YOU, Sir, are what us old dinosaurs 🦕 call A MONSTER! Seriously, what I LOVE about your playing (after binge watching your channel) is that you don't sound like two bumble bee's yelling at each other! You have soul and a real vibe even when you're "shredding"!
    I've been a PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN and a PROFESSIONAL AUDIO ENGINEER in Las Vegas for 40 years and I see a very bright 😎 future for you my friend!
    Keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight!

    nicely done.. I have been using an FM3 for the last year for when I need direct.. LOTS of time dialing it in. I have one of these on order. Love my Friedman amps, the Dirty Shirley 40 and JJ Junior.

    Loved the playing and the dynamic changes! Its a great sounding preamp-I'm sure the next step would be to put this into a modeller and it would be a 1 stop portable gig machine!

    I previously had a Victory V4 all valve preamp. Sold it due to my GF's medical emergency costs.
    Recently been using a Vox Valve Energy "Silk Drive" as an allrounder direct to interface input sweetener for amp sims w/ various analog pedals.
    This piece of kit looks like exactly what I've been after TBH!
    Can't wait to get my hands on one!
    Cheers!

    In modelers it isn't as hard to get the sound and feel now.Since Helix 3.50 I am having a blast.
    For alternative small solutions, the Boss GT1000Core is great too.
    This is just another evolution and it is cool.But most things are now.

    • @JefferyJMarshall
      @JefferyJMarshall ปีที่แล้ว

      😂 I think most players have more bending power with those three fingers. Then you also have the pinky avail to hit an extended note 🤷‍♂️ that’s my reason anyway…
