Love that you saved this work of art from it's demise. I am in AWE of everything you did, with the exception of the rims. But that is a personal thing i guess. You have a great eye for restoration work. Good luck on future projects.
very cool car, it is a good thing that some people save these cars from the scrap heap. I really love American classics.I sometimes dislike the way some people pimp them but this one is done to my liking.
I've never been one for aftermarket rims on classics but those wires look great! Awesome choice and really opened up my eyes to other possibilities! Great job guys!
Not a huge fan of giant rims, but they don't look too bad on this car. I'm just even more happy to see these cars being saved from the scrapyards. This is forgotten classic detriot elegance that needs a nitche to fit into. Really good job, man.
some people save dogs, some people save birds, i save classics and am damn proud of it, long live classics baby! west west, palmtrees, ca. sunny weather and PCH cant be beat!!!
Man, you've got my credit. This is one-hell-of-a-beautiful car! I like the interiour; it's leather and the classic looks of the console. Don't worry about the rims, they look fair enough, except for the fact that they're gold, and not chrome. Great Car, I'd love to drive it!
hey nice ride bro im currently restoring a 1977 lincoln continental. she my baby man keep up the great work it encourages me that im not the only one who has a taste for sweet low ridin cars.
Thats a beautiful Car. I got the same year back in 96 while I lived in San Diego. It was Red and awsome. However it was a Live-in by a Tweeker for two years and the smell was awfull and the Inside was a mess. Now I would have dealt with it. Seeing your Ride brings Tears.
i had a 67 llincoln with the suicide door.. had no papers so i demo it.. found a 63 just like this on its in bad shape want to buy it to restore it.. Nice car man looks great
i appreciate your comments, your ideology is old, cars today are worth more with slight modifications including some customizing, maybe in your part of the world its different, this car sold for 35k. if it was stock its only worth about 18k. thanks but ive been doing this for a long time and it is more lucrative to cater to those with money that like things no one else has. i love classic cars and my goal is to retain originality. at times it is necessary to modify, update and customize cars.
i love the car man 5 stars any one who says negative stuff is jealous because they cant get one or dont have anything to compare lincoln continentals all day cat!!!!
you are absolutely right, i truly understand that originality is best for selling, i do this out of a passion and just happend to have a good circle of money makers around me that fall in love with my mobile art. hey im not the best nor ami trying to send that message, i just love cars, thanks for the comments. an original lincoln would sell for more at bearrett jackson, but im not trying to do that, im creating one of a kind peices
Good grief fellas, give the man some credit. It may not be restored to stock, but I would rather see this on the road than being crushed or rotting in some junk yard. Nice Job MCHGAB1 !
@MCHGAB1 OK I WANNA SAY IM 27 AND THAT HAS ALLWAYS BEEN ONE OF ME FAV CARS GROWING UP MY DAD HAD A SHOP HE WAS A KOREAN WAR VET AND I WAS BORN THE YOUNGEST OF THREE THE OLDEST BEING BORN IN 1957 SO YOU SEE THE AGE GAP MY FATHER NEVER REALLY GOT TO KNOE ME BUT HE TAUGHT ME TO LOVE ALL CARS THE CONTI WAS ALLWAYS AT THE TOP OF MY LIST WITH THE SUSCIDE DOORS I JUST WANNA SAY THANKS FOR PUTTING THIS RIDE RIGHT AND GOD BLESS
Nice car. I own a 64. As to whether all classic cars need to be "restored" to their stock condition...i say that it's up to the owner. Stock cars are cool, but if you owned a new car and you changed the rims or the seats or any other thing including engine modifications, wouldn't that be a better ride overall? I'd say yes. Enjoy the car.
speachless what a Beauty i would be scared to drive this car on the street.I come from Germany here are such American Oldtimers VERY Rare... by the way How much would i Pay to have one of these Lincoln´s fully restorated ?
@compukenny there's factory restoration(that is what your meaning) and restored. this car has been restored because its had the paint and body work redone and the interior has been replaced. so there is a difference, and its to each there own also....
I did not cut the springs but the previous owner had a local shop cut them. He said they are about 3 feet long and as long as you don't heat them up first you retain most of your ride quality.
I think I just purchased this car from FL will find out this evening if it is the exact one but I dont think there could be another. If you still in biz let me know. tkx
@ridinged92 Thanks for the comment, i save classics not ruin them, i save them from being scrapped, if you see the cars for what they were before the customizing maybe you would appreciate it more, i can tell you have a closed mind and you might be single or get cheated on, bitterness always will kill you, i love haters!
nice job with the lincoln. love the rims and interior. I am in the process of restoring a 63 continental myself. i need the front bumper, and continental logo's for the sides. any help????
@MCHGAB1 i agree. i feel that if you put the money, time, and resources into a vehicle you should fix it however you like. It should please you in the long run, so who cares about what everyone else feels. I wish i had the money and time to put into an old school vehicle. I am looking for a 1967 Ford Galaxie, my dream car.
Thats car looks fantastic. I like the rims. But, no offense. I think it would look a little better if you had some nice 20" 5 or 6 Spoked rims, chromed. it would tie the cars color's together.
I absolutely adore this car, I like it more and more the longer I look at it! Except for the golden Rims, I'm sorry, but steel-colored ones would do better I think. But I've got one question though: How many people can you take with you in this car -the trunk not included lol? Thanks in advance.
I'm not really a fan of modernizing all classic cars. Some body styles never look quite right with over sized rims or lowered. This car I have to say is an exception to that rule. The over sized rims still give it a classy look and the interior mods also keep the class. Very tastefully done! How much would you sell a car like this for?
Looking good. I too prefer original slabises but you can't frown on someone for customizing one that he saved from the crusher. Besides, all customization I see in the photos can be undone.
The car looks good, for a modern upgraded retoration!. Your interior man is on point. I`m not big on daytons, so I think they look retarted on the linc. Like I said it looks good.
REALLY nice restoration/reconstruction. Would love to see it with orginial looking wheels though. Im in the UK and would love the 4 door suicide rear door model in a convertible. Contact me please.
@MCHGAB1 My '61 Lincoln used to get 17mpg, but that was on 105 octane gas back in the sixties.. unfortunately not possible on Ethanol-laced low test gas of today. Nice ride, except for the tires.
IT ISNT A LOWRIDER, IF IT WAS IT WOULD HOP OVER YOUR HOUSE, ITS A RESTORED MOD, AS A MATTER OF FACT ITS A PIECE OF ART, IT IS A CREATION OF MINE. iT WAS NEVER CREATED TO STIMULATE ANYONE ELSE, BY THE WAY WHEN HAVE YOU SEEN A LOWRIDER ON 22'S
hey i got a 1967 lincoln at my dads junkyard for free and i was wondering how much it is to do the resoration, in mine the interior is mint, but the engine needs to be gone through and cleened, do u know how much it would cost?
I doubt he decreased the value of anything, its a 64 lincoln it will hold its value, you can change the wheels on it and take the system out if you want to.
Wait. The guy doing the upholstery.... Didn't I see him on a custom restoration show where he worked on Sly Stallone's truck for the movie, "The Expendables?"
TO ME THE RIMS ARE PERFECT IM TRYING TO BUILFD A MID 60'S CADDIE HERST WITH BAGS AND DAYTONS ON IT I WANNA BE DIFFERENT YOU KNOW AND THE HERST SCARES ALOT OF PEOPLE BUT NOT ME I LOVE IT AND CANT WAIT TILL IM DONE WITH IT THE CASKET IS GONNA HAVE AT LEAST 6 BTI 15 INCH SUBS AND AT LEAST 10,000 WATS IN IT HOPEFULLY A STEVE MEAD BUILD IF YOU DONT KNOW HIM LOOK HIM UP ON TH-cam BADDEST IN THE BIZ
GOD BLESS YOU FOR SAVING A CLASSIC!! Peace from Houston, TX.
It's great to see that these Lincolns that I drove in my younger years (I had a '64) are still popular. Beautiful car very well restored.
Love that you saved this work of art from it's demise. I am in AWE of everything you did, with the exception of the rims. But that is a personal thing i guess. You have a great eye for restoration work. Good luck on future projects.

Very nice thanks for sharing. So glad they didn't crush it. I wish I could restore like that...
Man, you've got my credit. This is one-hell-of-a-beautiful car! I like the interiour; it's leather and the classic looks of the console. Don't worry about the rims, they look fair enough, except for the fact that they're gold, and not chrome. Great Car, I'd love to drive it!

The wheels can be easily fixed, the butchering of the trunk not so easy.
the wheels all 4 are flat
Trunk not so bad... door panels at speakers a shame. But if you want beat, to each his own. Better cut up and on the road than crushed... nice ride...
REALLY nice restoration/reconstruction. Would love to see it with orginial looking wheels though.
Im in the UK and would love the 4 door suicide rear door model in a convertible.
Contact me please.

Clean ass continental and sick ass beat/instrumental.. where can I find it? What's it called??
@Kamikaze239
probablly 4 in front 4 in back 3 in truck and maybe 2 midgets in the hood.
you add it up
This car isn`t restored it`s customised. It is a real pimp mobile, I`ve seen more style in a tart`s handbag. What a desecration of a lovely old car.
@DragonNinja009
Thanks bro
Is this car for sale? If so I am looking for one of these so send me info of this or any 1961-1963 Lincoln Continentals for sale.
