@@MMastaM the limited killers will only be at the start and the classes are not a final when it comes out it will be a limited time mode for people to test and send back feedback it will then come out later on (date unknown) with a more developed experience including more killer selection and either a more developed class system or depending on feedback maybe a different perk/class system altogether bhvr mostly gave details on the initial installment of 2v8 and not necessarily what it will look once perfected as they want community feedback aswel as plenty of testing so what your saying might actually be the case for the final piece
Kinda disappointed there’s only 5 killers available in 2v8 but hey it’s still a major step in the right direction and I’m really happy about it

I dont see how else they would balance that, 5 killers already is a MASSIVE range considering how complex some of the powers are and how quick they would either cancel each other out or be gamebreakingly strong

Congratulations dead by daylight no matter how toxic some of the community can be it's awesome to see y'all going 8 freaking years strong. To be going strong 8 years is honestly an accomplishment even after all the bugs etc i hope y'all improve in the future because I don't want the game to die. I hope they make 2v8 a full game where perks are available to all (not ones that would be broken if too many people have it) and also have all the killers. The classes and power ups are cute but I’m wanting straight up 2v8 with ANY killer (keep the cage thing though that’s really fair)

I think it means that once the last survivor is downed (after the other 3 have died) you get a mori.

Better to finish it with a bang! and it will make moris more worth it, like a reward for a 4k, instead of having to bring an add on as the only way (outside of sadako and pyramid head)
@@magical571 Only problem I have with it is that there are situations where someone gets slugged and the killer chases someone else to kill them which would give the survivor a chance to get back up (unbreakable, power struggle etc) or they just manage to crawl to the hatch before the killer can find them again which the auto-mori takes away.

Really enjoyed the broadcast, especially showing that Pig will have her own anniversary outfit! Hoping for a new bear trap Mori or saw theme in the future. 🙏🏽
it would be great, since saw X was pretty nice (waaay better than jigsaw or spiral, it was a nice movie for those of us who like the saw franchise), i think the spark is there to bring something extra saw related, kinda like how RE had two chapters.

Wow for the first time in like 3 years I am actually excited to play DBD and feel like they are finally listening to the masses and adding things people want. This chapter actually looks balanced. Getting more game modes is so dope and just finally something different with all the changes to the systems store additional perks and rewards. The mascarade actually sounds like it's gonna be fun again and actually engaging. I am so happy with what I have seen in this live stream. Please don't let us down behavior.

I think its fine for 2v8 to be more for "fun and party-like", but it would also be fun to have that competitive side to it.

Anyone else notice that they didn't mention anything about cakes? I almost guarantee there will be no cakes this year. They would have mentioned it if they were planning on it. The whole section of in game celebrations talked about 3x bloodpoints, XP, and fragments along with cosmetics and other things, but no mention of cakes. Damn. :(
I mean, if I was BHVR, and was doing bloodweb cakes for 7 years in a row, logic would assume that cakes would come back for year #8. It’s just precedent at this point. Anniversary = Cakes, I wouldn’t worry about it.

"Gameplay Improvements" Lets put in last survivor moris again, even though we tried that and everyone hated it, and keep "Balancing the game" when we could be working on our shitty hit boxes, making pallets work and designing unique ways to up the gameplay, like hiding holes or survivor moris (Letting the survivors do bonus objectives to mori the killer instead of escaping) because we've lost a lot of our most popular content creators who used to love the game, but now find it a bore- we must be heading in the right direction, because if we weren't people would want to play this game.

Castlevania will probably be my first actual DLC purchase in DbD in like 3 years. Got completely burned out on this game, recently started with friends again. Still almost unplayable as Survivor with all the Aura reading perks and strong AF Killers, plus tunneling and no real meta perks for Survivors, but damn man, Castlevania has me hyped up ❤ Hoping to see different Belmonts as skins, and Dracula from different games plus the animated show version ❤

Cross-progression is honestly the biggest thing announced here. No hate to DND and Castlevania those are gonna be awesome as well but because I have about 2k hours on console split between PS4 and PS5 I just can't be bothered to get all the survivors and killers back to P3 to finally escape the PS ecosystem, seriously screw paying $100CAD every year what a rip off; I still remember the good old days of free online for PlayStation. So I will finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief and start saving big later this year.

So the mori rework I have been waiting for five years is a nerf. Got it.
I wish they would allow me to do random perks, Not just as a modifier or event, but just let me have random perks selected. It would make the game fun to just play and see what I can do.
there are a couple websites that will do that for you. random perks, addons, offerings, all of it.
@@namjeff1419 Not the point. I get I could select random perks. I do not want to know what I get until I am in the match. Just like the current Chaos Modifier, but, just let me select "randomize perks" before I go into a match. The surprise of not knowing what perks is fun. Once I've done all my tome challenges, I don't care what perks I have and random would be more fun.

I dont want the red mori to be replaced. It's fun to go for all mori games. Adding base kit final mori is good. I like it. Removing red mori is bad don't do it.
I wonder how the cross progression gonna work.....I have the base game and built my dbd career on thr ps5....as cross progression seemed less and less.....I went to pc recently and started all over again......how will it work? can I cross the ps5 into the pc acct that I have (steam acct)? if it does combine.....will the pc items be crossed into the ps5 as well? sooooo many questions hehe
