You won’t be sorry . The overdrive transforms the car. With an overdrive you can cruise all day at 75MPH at 2900 RPM. An overdrive is the single best addition!!
Hi Dave, great idea installing to overdrive...I won't have another triumph without either the stock OD or a 5 Speed conversion. Just makes it so much nicer to drive especially on longer outings. You might want to consider installing a "logic controller box" . Works great for the A Type. Thanks Tush, I am really looking forward to going on some longer distance drives and the OD will really help. I often find myself shifting into 4th on the freeway and then absentmindedly pushing in the clutch and realizing there are no more gears!
