0:17-0:19 Friggin hell that was the most satisfying transition I've EVER seen. I'm rewatching it again and again because holy SHITE the editing work is just top-notch. I love how EVERY character has their little moment to shine. And the perfect balance between the darker aspects of the show and the comedy as well as romance is simply *chef's kiss* Jeebeezus it's a perfect hook for a new viewer. If this showed up on my recommendations, 10/10 I'd watch the show cause its such an intriguing FMV.
Literally on my third rewatch of this. Every single movement, sound, choice of scene, transition, is perfect. The flashes of each couple's kiss are my favorite; that brings it home because there's so much violence with the gunshots, and the juxtaposition of the softness of kisses with that really is the cherry on top for me. Really incredible work, both of you.
Oh my God, yes, it's so true! I was so focused on all the guns and fighting and action that the kisses were a total surprise, but it transitioned everything so beautifully!

This whole thing was so perfect - stretches of fast paced cuts with just enough longer moments to hold the tension. My favorite part was using shots of Porsche and Pete being dehumanized during the "- do you talk to the animals, do you hold their lives on a string?" Just the cruelty and oppression they experienced at the hands of people who otherwise might have been raised kind. Ugh.
