Great song, written for another time and war, but it reminds me of my family who fought (some fell) in the 10th and 36th Divisions in the Great War and with the the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Royal Ulster Rifles and Royal Irish Fusiliers in Dunkirk, North Africa, Italy and D Day onwards. Commemorated or Buried at the Menin Gate, the Somme (the Martinsart Shell incident), Dunkerque and Normandy. I was Ulster Defence Regiment. Lest we forget the heroes of Ulster.
