The Rabbit was especially brave here. He was absolutely terrified, but still decided to throw the cup at him just to keep the illusion of him being truly out of his mind. Terrific
I love the eyes in this scene...at least in the beginning. The March Hare’s eyes are all out of whack when he notices the Knave approaching, Cheshire’s eyes turn to slits before vanishing, Hatter’s eyes lighten a shade (or somehow get paler) when he’s choked, and you can see the switch in the Hound’s when he realizes the Hatter sides with him....and then there’s the Knave, who only has one eye. But still, I think they’re all great cinematic touches and I love them.
the fact that they were more sane when Alice was with them that got to the point they needed to pretend to be more mad than what they were so the knave wouldn't be suspicious
A lot of people criticize the CGI in this, but this is one of the examples of how Tim Burtons weird imagination and insane artistic detail really shines. CGI is great for this because of how unnatural and unsettling it can look.
I hear from a lot of people how much they dislike this rendition of Alice in Wonderland, and I can understand their disappointment. Personally though, I will always love this movie. Its just so much fun!
I like how in this version of Alice in Wonderland, the Hatter, along with the rest of the characters are defending Alice when the Queen is onto her, unlike the original

I love how even if they're already insane the tension in this scene kept them quite sane that they have to pretend to be insane for Alice.
YOUR’E ALL LATE FOR TEA!!! YEET!
I love his frustration when he says “you’re all mad” as an insult and they just laugh it off
Nobody could have played The Mad Hatter better than our Johnny Depp.

Could you do the scene where Hatter sees normal-sized Alice for the first time? One of my favorites.
