The development of an eco-responsible boating industry will require the development of new construction techniques, generating less CO2.
In this field, the Dutch shipyard IMPACD Boats presented at Boat 2023 in Düsseldorf a range of 3D printed boats, using recycled plastic as raw material. Eco Yachting, the Yachting Art program, offers you to know everything about this exemplary approach, which represents a real paradigm shift in the nautical industry...

It's nice and I'm no expert in Boats but to me, for 55k euros I would buy a real fibreglass boat much bigger than that, Yes it will be second-hand but for that kind of money I would have much more space.

A wood boat is also sustainable. This imitates lapstrake which is wood planking. Trees grow and produce oxygen, wildlife, and beauty. I also assert that there is no real advantage to electric batteries in a boat. It's heavy and there is no regenerative braking or coasting. At planing speeds like 35 mph or 55 kph these can't go very far. The ribbed texture is not conducive to low friction efficiency. Does it come in traditional white? At $40,000 for an 18 ft boat with only 8 hp for the 550 model, it seems very pricey. It has what appears to be a planing hull with an immersed transom that drags underwater producing turbulence, yet with only 8 hp has no hope of planing. It should have a full displacement hull with an emerged transom that does not drag underwater.

how do you repair it? It seems to me that unless you can make a repair easily and cheaply, your service life is going to be much shorter than a non printed boat. And that’s the end of the green washing claims. Also, how much micro plastic will this generate i over its service life? This seems to raise a lot of questions, and provides few answers.

Conserta da mesma forma que se conserta peças plásticas de carros, eu acho. Quanto ao custo acredito que é questão de tempo, assim como a resistência ao mar... ondas etc.

That's fine you build an electric boat. Build me one with a big enough generator to run the boat and charge battery simultaneously.

So you aren't paying shipwrights to build it and your using recycled trash as 70+% as building materials and your somehow more expensive than a fiberglass boat?! Ridiculous!
