1:00 This also works without using auto-jump, but by just mashing the jump key/button as you ascend.

And when you activate it, It moves you forward and turns on auto jump until you move normally and switches it off

What update I want to see in the future is a locomotion and railroading update. Which could allow you make locomotives and carts for them for long distance item travel. The cost is that it would be quite expensive and would need a.ot of new components to make. And also to keep the old timey feel there would probably only be steam ones to give more uses for coal

That would make everything better for my worlds, I could get a proper navy with a flag and not just a boring boat.
I already love the chest on a boat thing, since it is combining the boat (that like I said I love them) and donkeys (the best option for trade in servers in the mid game when you don't get access to shulkers)
But I would really seriously love a boat with a chest *AND* a banner. My days of business would become the best days of business

You might want to check out the "small ships" mod, fully sailable ships of various size and shape! Expensive to build but its fun.

Villagers who you've already traded with can't be made jobless, so the trades locked from trading too much will stay locked.
Actually with the present you can use that button to your advantage to make it have stuff inside.
Use a dispenser underneath
After placing the armor stands use a piston to get the dispenser in the right place.
Put stuff inside the dispenser then.
To open it press the button after that and there you go!

Riptide tridents are broken when you put OP commands on them. Just imagine using it for parkour like at 1:17 but with riptide 25 instead of 3!

Another effect I found with the water is to do it layer by layer. Start at the bottom and go up makeing sure each layer is flat and unmoving.

Just fill in the second-to-top layer of the hole with dirt, and then put the water on top. Once you turn those all to source blocks, removing the dirt should make it fill in the whole thing.

9:00 man, I need to have this system for the server I'm on, the main currency is pretty much dead there, so we often trade loot, but this will really help bring bartering to a whole new level. (I might even take some notes to have rentable trading stations)
For the villagers and trading thing with moving the work station - I play bedrock edition and as this is 1.18 I know it's up to date, but if you have traded with a villager breaking its workstation doesn't reset its trades. All it does is make them unable to restock

The piston idea for villagers also works to reset trades and is much faster than breaking and replacing the work station

I've known about the auto-jump stairs trick for a long time and have used it, but the problem is that it drains your hunger very quickly.

Jumping ALWAYS depletes hunger, though. Genius mode in Minecraft means knowing this and turning auto-jump on and off to save time, not "never" using it.
Another way to get somewhat of a replay mod in bedrock is by
1. Go into setting and go to your video option
2. Turn on hide hand, turn off (if on) show paper doll, and then hide your ui

The tip from 8:12 can still be used in java by moving the villager.
Once you trade with a villager, it will forever keep it's job, even if you destroy or move the workstation.
That's how it works in Java at least
I think it's the same with bedrock but I haven't played in a while, when 1.18 came out there was way too much chunk loading problems

10:06 it also works if you use an elytra and slow falling potion, take out the hotbar from the screen and it works
For number 11 (sugar cane farm) you can actually use waterlogged hoppers leading to a chest, which will pick up what you don’t. It will also put them into storage for next time
Thanks for the tip on the trade with villagers. Now I can get the 1,000 emerald trade achievement faster now.

Just hold spacebar while climbing stairs, I've done it a million times and it is definitely much faster than just walking up the stairs, I learned about this in our SMP, instead of turning on auto jump and turning it off after.
I like the ideas of trees and adding a banner on the boat. They should really update the boats with sails on them. I think that would be cool.

I liked The Hive until they completely abandoned their Java community, now I hate their guts

You may move quicker on stairs with auto-jump, but you missed the minor detail that it depletes your hunger bar more.
if you go genius mode in Minecraft (turn auto-jump on and off as needed) you probably need to realize first that jumping *_always_* depletes hunger. Should be 101 stuff. You’re not wrong, though.
Combine the bubble elevator with the fox deflector to create a rapid dismount that would dazzle your friends.

Love it
If you don't have silk touch, here's another decently easy way to fill a space up with water. If you cover the second to top layer in an easily removable block, you can fill the water in on the top layer pretty easily and then remove the blocks from below. Works decently well, and any you put torches at the bottom to prevent mobs are easy to clean up since the water breaks them. Saved me a decent amount of frustration at least

For #23 I've been doing that for years but with the water buckets, using the water physics to fill holes one layer at a time and make no currents. I've been able to flood huge areas with only 2 buckets of water since 1.7.10.
Yeah, going your own way is often smart with Minecraft even given what you can learn from others. I use auto-jump to save time; you just have to turn it on and off.

becuz the plate doesnt have an item frame background, it should be invisible. but, even using normal maps, you can't see the map on the back.
