Incredibly practical demonstration of the theory. Your work is very much appreciated!

This is an excellent explanation. Thanks for your time and dedication.

Your explanation of which indicators influence the Q factor is very educational! Now the translation of this to my first self-build small magnetic loop antenna .. loop circumference is 3 foot copper tube of 15 mm. R lose is mainly determined by the connection to the variable (7 - 60 pF) air capacitor. With this SMLA I want to operate on the 20 - 40 meter HAM radio bands. What is your opinion regarding the Q factor and the efficency of this antenna?

Sounds reasonable. Getting a milli-ohms connection from the copper-tube to the variable capacitor is indeed not trivial.
Try my spreadsheet for calculation Q-factor. There is a separate video-series about this spredsheet on my channel where you also find the download-link.
Jery Elsworth also has a video about making a very large copper-tube loop-antenna for the SW-bands.

very educational which factors determine the Q factor and demand attention when designing and building an SMLA.Now I do not own a lab with measuring instruments to determine the L and C and the Rdc and Rac of my built magnetic loop antenna and therefore the Q factor.Which measuring instrument is your advice for HAM radio antenna construction?question, when tuning the MLA around 12400kHz (20 mterband) the audible resonance frequency is much louder (and thus has higher amplitude) than the resonance frequency 28500kHz. (10 meter band)The circumference of the MLA is constant 3 meters and the diameter of the tube is constant 15mm.What would be the reason for this in your opinion? The dielectric of the variable air capacitor also plays a role in the Q factor. Therefore has a vacuum var. capacitor preferred with an MLA?

Have you ever experimented with tuning your Tesla coil too 7.83 htzs the Earth's frequency. And then changing your air capacitance to a physical capacitance

      No. To what end?

@@KainkaLabs Tesla was searching for free energy from the earth. The earth is a big generator and he claimed to have tapped into it. I'm convinced the key to it is his coil. I'm not an engineer, just a fan of Tesla.

Sorry. But that is complete nonsense. Even Einstein and Newton have erred on some cases. And Tesla did not play in their league.

I don´t discuss this "Free Energy" BS. Just a waste of time.
I have studied physics and know what I´m talking about.

I´m not a SW ham-radio operator. You should ask other people like forum for ham-radio operators or your local ham-radio club..
