A few years ago I started with acrylic paint pouring. Rarely was I pleased with the results. Additionally takes quite a long time. I love abstract. Thank you for sharing. No more politics. Time to make some art =)
A textured technique I've used is tearing up tissue paper small, add glue paint, stir to a consistency like a tuna sandwich spread on canvas. Let dry. Create your masterpiece. =)
I watch all of the complex methods that are used but usually I think they are probably provided with material to use as a form of promoting their project. When I saw this I fell in love with everything about it I looked like anyone who watches can learn and no real outlay as most people have the items you use. Thank you so very much
You. Saved. My. Life. I have a very large, expensive canvas with dried molding paste (among other things) that I ruined (didn't like what I had done with it- long story) and did not know what to do with it. It didn't smooth well- but I wanted to use it since its a beautiful canvas. I KNOW NOW WHAT I WILL DO! Thank you for this vid from the bottom and top of my SOUL!
Thank you so much . Very beautiful. You are a great teacher. Personally I think these types of arts look best in dark or white/ beige/brown . The pattern is more enhanced in these colors compared with bright colors. Anyone agree?
WOW! I have been doing Pour Painting but have become disillsioned with it of late and want to step right outside my square. I have only just discovered the Gesso and Modelling Paste and soo so love the look of this style of art. Does it eventually crack and do you have to seal the final dry canvas with whatever. Thank you in advance and thank you for the inspiration. Just love it.
Thank you so much for sharing such a great idea! I’ve been looking for something like the red stencil you’ve used. I’d be grateful if you could explain what that was. It looks like something I can find at a hardware store ? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I believe the canvas is 10" x 10". No. Modeling paste (sometimes called molding paste) is a thick, white paste that is primarily used to add texture and relief to paintings and gesso is used to prime a canvas before being painted on. I also use gesso to add subtle texture to a canvas before painting.
Gesso es una especie de imprimacion. Lo puedes hacer tu misma con 1/4 talco cualquiera, 1/4 cola blanca de carpintero, 2/4 de pintura blanca acrílica de pared.
Thank you so much for watching! What do think of this new textured abstract? What colours would your paint it?
This is so gorgeous. I will try this different shades of green/blue. Shades of peacock.
I would paint purple and pink tones.
I would paint blue/purple tones🎨👍

I have started duplicating this. I am using the same colors. It's a perfect match for my dining room. Your work is awesome. Thank you for sharing.
I rarely use red when I paint. I LOVED this. Makes me want to step outside my comfort zone and use some red. LOVELY!!!! Truly Inspirational.

Wow. Though the piece itself is simple the complexity within it. Just awesome.

Very creative!! Great work. Where do you get the stencils from?
Really cool! Nice texture and colors! :)
Thank you so much!
inspiration
Thanks!
Can I use oil colour instead of aycrlic
...can this technique work on black canvases?
Yes. I sometimes even recycle old acrylic paintings on canvases (the ones that didn't turn out the way I hoped) to make textured paintings.
@@StudioSilverCreek thx! Good to know 👍🏼
What is that red stencil mesh tool you are using?
Is modeling paste the same as gesso?
And what size is your canvas?
Thanks!
I believe the canvas is 10" x 10".

Istead of gesso, what can i use?
@@EmeErreTe mil gracias
Brilliant technique but the colors were too warm.
