~Bought myself several N-scale train & really enjoy having them. Always wanted a train set like the ones in department store windows. It was considered a boy toy....& now I am in my 60's & love to set them up. Those lil-trains bring peace to me. My granddaughter at 4...wanted to race them....real fast, granny had to save the trains from my lilttle princess. Thx to all train hobbiest.
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you're enjoying your trains as I am. Although most of my collection is O-Gauge, I too own and run some N-scale trains. My N-scale collection grows every year. Happy Holidays!
Thanks, Glen! I saw a layout set up at the Arbutus Fire Hall this past Saturday while visiting a train show there. It was a nice local show, found some Marx items and lightbulbs I was looking for.
My father owned a store called French's INC at 304 w Baltimore st. He sold a lot of trains and as a kid we went around to all the displays. Maybe some of your old times will remember he passed in 78 but thanks for the memories.
I remember your dad. I bought several things from him over the years and still have them. I was sad when the shop closed. I drove by there yesterday to visit the Dundalk Train Garden and thought of French's Train Store. I think his shop is now a liqour store. Thanks for your comments. Happy Holidays.
@@Newts_Trains Thanks for your reply I worked there as a kid and loved working in the basement where the trains were. i will be 70 in may so i did not think anyone would remember THANKS!
Great video. Please stop by Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie and check out the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Holiday Train Garden. We are happy to have the opportunity to rebuild and reopen this year. We have a lot of unique 3D printed figures and items in the displays this year!
Ps. Model trains and fire apparatus! It doesn't get any better than that. I think i have more fire trucks and police cars on my layout than regular vehicles.😂
Great video. Except you left out the Highlandtown train garden at 520 South Conkling street Engine house 41. We are a very successful train garden since 2009. We represent Highlandtown and Patterson park with models of buildings past and present ( Patterson Park Pagoda, Natty Boh building, Pulaski Monument, Haussner's Restaurant, and many more. You have to make a visit to us. We are open for the rest of the Holiday season everyday Dec. 21 thru Jan 1st 11AM to 5Pm. closed Christmas day. Hope to see you there. Thanks Terry, I will definitely be stopping by one day soon. I have visited your Train Garden in past years. I plan on doing a "Part 2" video and your garden will definitely be included. Thanks for reaching out and Happy Holidays!
