You put into words the horrible gut feeling I’ve gotten upon seeing all the girl dinner posts. The way we’re still failing young women and how the only escape is throwing your phone in a lake and going off grid because it really is everywhere in our society makes my soul hurt.

This video was so so powerful. I really relate to your story - I developed anorexia at 13 after I decided that I wanted to start eating "better" so I could perform better in track, but I was 13 and had no nutrition knowledge and no one to help me. I struggled pretty horribly until I was 18 and it was so validating hearing someone put into words what that time in my life was like: a deep dark hole, I don't remember much of it, I had no energy, all I thought about was food and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I've also been doing a lot of inner teen healing lately so your videos are a perfect match for this period of my life.
