I would love to own one of these. It's a pity that they are so rare and when they pop up they are way too expensive for me. Thank you for this amazing video. This is the greatest car of the USSR. Classy, commanding power and respect, comfortable, huge, and well-built with a great interior and exterior. It is my dream car, although it is extremely expensive and rare.
Several years ago in Havana while traveling with my Young Pioneer Tours friends we hired a Zil like the one in the video to take us around town own a couple of evenings. Of course the driver claimed the car was one of Fidel's, who knows. Still every bit as nice a a Lincoln of the period.
I must say what a car big bold and understated at the same time obviously designed with a ruler but it looks great its huge but looks very nice as for luxury the use of real wood and built so well and 9 to 25 layers of paint must look fantastic in the tin as for space intensive rear seat excellent and all the luxury features you need

Aurus is brand new, their first car was made for putins last inauguration. Outside of a quick 20 km trip the night before, when it picked up Putin and drove him away that was the first time it had drove. And it was successful. Very nice cars, and totally original even down to the motor.
Far from naive ! I am in Australia and have a 22 year old ford falcon 4ltr 6 cylinder that produces similar figures in virtually factory specifications !
Looks like this guy regrets the collapse of the Soviet Union. But who would allow him to drive this car in the Soviet times? The KGB would not allow him even to touch it.

Quite a car built like a tank but the build quality is another story look at the ripples in the body sides unfortunately the USSR wasn't renowned for quality.
